The Hill:President Clinton will not hit the campaign trail for Hillary Clinton in 2015, aides told The Washington Post, keeping in line with his promise to be a "backstage adviser" to her White House run. "He's completely focused right now on the foundation," Tina Flournoy, President Clinton’s chief of staff, told the paper. "That does not mean that he does not realize his wife is running for president. But he is not directly engaged in the campaign. As he has said before, if his advice is asked for, he’s happy to give it."My guess is this: Hillary is an extremely narcissistic and incompetent woman who, being a deluded, zealous feminist, wants to believe She Can Do This Without Her Husband, but in fact she's never done anything without the help of her husband. So she tells him to take time off from campaigning for the easy part, the primary, while reserving the right to call in Her Man to Help Her during the general. Another possibility is that the Clintons are trying to keep the Hillary Campaign, and the 10 years of huge graft at the Foundation for Clintons, sealed off from each other entirely; so Hillary will not answer questions about the Foundation for Clintons, and Bill will answer questions about the Foundation for Clintons (dishonestly and deflectively, but he will deign to answer), but won't talk about Hillary's campaign. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton, who has never actually achieved anything, merely held a series of impressive-sounding titles, most of which she got through her husband, continues to hide from the press and public, basically campaigning by not campaigning. In this, Hillary relentlessly focuses on doing the one and only thing she's ever been provably good at: Nothing.

I encountered two "two for one" types in my career, one in academia and one in industry, and both were train wrecks of the first water. Hubby in each case was like Bill - the guy who carried the ball - while wifey in each case clutched hubby's coattails with a death grip, all the while bitterly resenting any implication that that's what had gotten her that far.
Having to clean up the two wifeys' fuckups (in the industry case, several times actually being asked in so many words by hubby, in one case to several shitty employees - hired for their plumbing - off wifey's hands, and in another to quell an insurrection in wifey's department) made me a lifelong bitter opponent of any nepotism whatsoever. And both wifeys were chock-a-block with anger and resentment to boot. Delightful.

He wants me to go into this tiny dysfunctional church (which has money so they don;'t have to worry about being tiny and dysfunctional) as the lead pastor and serve communion and preachonce or twice a month and coordinate lay ministers who are responsible for preaching the other weeks. The South side of Chicago is a wonderful place to bring the family, take a walk around the neighborhood and see for yourself, especially after dark in the summer. If you don't get shot or mugged in 10 minutes you get into the library free of charge.

Google "Bill Clinton's health" and you'll see what I mean. He had that quadruple bypass in 2005 or so, and lately he's been looking and sounding frail and used-up. He's nearly 70, and his family history with cardiac health is lousy. Also, if your arteries tend to get clogged, a bypass will get clogged as well, because surgery doesn't cure that tendency, it just gives you a workaround and a life-extension chance.
Thinking that they'll use him only sparingly; hoping his tires won't blow out before the primary. When he came out to swat away the tough questions about the Clinton Crime Family Foundation, he sounded like a shadow of his former self.
On the other hand, if he does peg out, watch for the Leftists to do the whole Teddy (barf) Kennedy State Funeral routine, with extra flourishes, and an Eternal Fucking Flame if they can wangle it. Though, as a multiple-draft dodger, he wouldn't, surely, be eligible to be planted in Arlington.

I think both Clintons are in extreme ill health. She has had several fainting spells. Several unexplained absences.She is knownto have blood clots, and isat serious risk of a stroke. Doctors say she must be constantly monitored the rest of her life.She fainted and injured herself three times now that we know about. In 2012 she fainted and got a concussion.In 2005 duringa speech in Buffalo. She alsofainted while boarding her plane in Yemen in 2009, which caused her to fall and fracture her elbow. My guess is there have been more incidents that we don't know about.
What if she never really intends to run? I mean, like Huckabee, she is just "running" to get the donations and swag without any planto win?

Bill doesn't want Hillary to be President and is doing everything he can to sabotage her effort.
I'm not sure why - maybe he thinks she'd be a terrible President. Maybe he believes it would diminish himself if he wasn't the only person in the marriage who became POTUS. Maybe he considers the idea of being a "First Husband" to be emasculating. Maybe its some combination of the three.
But he doesn't want her to win. More than almost anybody in politics, Bill knows how to sound like he cares about people's concerns, whether he does or not. I'm not sure what the right answer to the gross fundraising abuses at the Clinton foundation are, but I'm sure Bill could have come up with a better answer than the arrogant and dismissive "I gotta pay the bills" if he wanted to. Recall also some of the comments he made about Obama during the '08 campaign - how he should be grateful he isn't waiting tables. He had to have known how bad that sounded, and I think he did.
