re: The tinfoil in the last thread:

A team of MIT computer scientists have figured out how to turn a potato chip bag into a "visual microphone."

This video shows three demonstrations of sound being recovered through video: one where a melody is captured in the vibrations of leaves on a plant, another where speech is captured in the vibration of a chip bag, and a third where a song is identified solely through a video of the ear buds through which the song was playing.

Hey numbnuts, help me to understand.

When you use the word Protestor, who exactly are you referring to?

The United States Constitution explicitly provides for 'the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances'" in the First Amendment.

If those are the people who you are calling protestors, I have no issues with what they are doing.
As a matter of fact, I spent over thirty years defending the document which recognizes their right to peaceable assembly to address grievances.

In toothless Serb news:

An investigation into the sudden plunge of the Serbian president's plane last week shows that it was due to the co-pilot spilling coffee on the instrument panel.

The investigation results released Tuesday show that the co-pilot accidentally activated the emergency slot extension when trying to clean the coffee from the panel. That reportedly caused the plane to dive and the brief shutdown of one of the engines. Unsurprisingly there was panic among passengers.

The captain then stabilized the aircraft and returned to the capital Belgrade.

258 Speaking of desserts, the gf and I are making a Plum Duff this weekend. I said that a few weeks ago but plans changed. This weekend we're going to make it though.

It's a recipe from the early 18th century, we're following it exactly.

Fun fact: Plum Duff has never contained plums. It's raisins, which used to be called plums. Plums were called figs. And I don't know what figs were called because I'm a 'ron and I lost track of my online learnin' and started watching Yoga Porn.

All I know is, I had to stop on my way home from work and buy 3 square feet of unbleached muslin. I sure hope the gf knows what she's doing.
