Good Morning Morons. Today is Thursday, April 09, 2015. On this day in 1940 Vidkun Quisling seized power in Norway with the backing of the Nazis so that he could effectively turn Norway over to the Nazis. His name thereafter became a pseudonym for traitor.

And this has been an "eventful" morning for me. When I woke up early this morning and walked out into the living room I heard this "rushing" noise. I asked wife what it was as she was sitting there playing a game on her Samsumg oblivious to all. I went into the kitchen to find an inch of water in the floor and water pouring out from under the cabinets. The pressure fitting for the cold water tap had blown loose from the pipe and was pouring water forth with abandon. I had to crawl under the house to shut off the water. And then it took a while to clean up the mess.

The University of Michigan has back-tracked and will show American Sniper. What I find telling on this crap is the fact that they cancelled the show based on petition started by a radical leftist and who was only able to gather 300 sigs. This university has a student population 43,625 students so she got 0.69% of the student body. You would think before censoring a show the university would seek to get more of a consensus on objection to it.

I see another round of "experts" are calling the power grid "failing". I suspect in some areas it is, but this is just a call to give the central government more control of what has been traditionally State business. The areas where the grid is in danger are not from "worn" material, it is from lack of expansion to cover increased load. The problem occurs due to NIMBYs NAMBYs, and NOPES along with the normal resistance to increased fees to pay for more grid and generation. This is occurring primarily in the Northeast and West. I say tough shit, eat your sandwich. The Southeast is doing fine.

Obama is using the union goons on the NLRB to aid illegals in fighting against the law. Why have Republicans not pushed to get rid of the NLRB. It has never accomplished what it was put in place for (as FDR knew it would not) and it has become nothing but a tool of the labor unions.

As expected, motor voter registrations are registering illegals in a lot of States. When that law was passed Republicans "compromised" to pass the bill and we were supposed to get a deal that every four years the rolls would be purged of dead people and felons where applicable. That part never happened. So the next time you hear "compromise" tell them you would be glad to after all the previous compromises are enforced.

That TX federal judge has issued a scathing decree against Obama and the DHS. To me the more interesting thing he included in his decision is about ICE employees being ordered to follow an edict from Obama rather than follow the law. He waited until the Fifth Circuit (which is his own appellate circuit) ruled on the Mississippi case earlier the same day. The Fifth denied the Mississippi case because the plaintiffs demonstrated no harm to the citizens including the ICE employees. Mississippi needs better lawyers. But Hanon covered it and them by quoting Obama's threats to ICE employees in a pandering Univision interview. A president making threats to federal employees for the benefit of law breaking non-citizens quoted back to the DOJ as "harm" by a federal judge. It is unprecedented. Hanon basically is acting as appellant counsel for law enforcement. I would not want to play chess, poker or chicken with this guy. Posted by: Lester at April 09, 2015 07:01 AM (2UPXV) 60

Fair question.
The President is, at this time, preparing an executive order to reclassify the population of the United States by intelligence, as determined by voting patterns and melanin concentrations. By this new metric, major urban centers, refugee holding areas and Berkeley will average 140+ IQ while the majority of the continental U.S. and Alaska will be categorized as retarded, thus incapable of voting. NASA's newly discovered space aliens will be allowed to vote as well. To this end, Steven Spielberg is working closely with administration officials to plan a heartwarming yet poignant film that will instruct the masses on our dark history of bigotry, voter rights suppression and rape of space aliens. via Insty Posted by: LoneStarHeeb at April 09, 2015 08:00 AM It happens every year and is part of the job. Prior administrations told them to shut up and get back to work. This one is trying to extort more money out of the taxpayers to administer Obamacare. I hope it backfires and we get a flat tax making them superfluous. An observation (and potential comeback to leftists): In light of the tragic SC cop shooting, the cops who beat Rodney King are now totally vindicated for showing absolute restraint and professionalism. Posted by: J.J. Sefton at April 09, 2015 08:02 AM (St6BJ) Yes, the infamous beating video. What the public saw was the edited version where the MFM had cut out all the crap that King did to warrant that beating. That was why the first jury voted for requital after seeing ALL the video. Those cops were later railroaded by the SJW assholes. Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at April 09, 2015 08:10 AM (wlDny) Posted by: J.J. paying it off honestly, I fully expect some sort of global reset to happen as most countries and states are all in the red. There is not enough real or imagined wealth or money to pay off the accumulated global debt. How does the saying go? If you owe the bank a million, you have a problem. Honest question about the deficit/debt for liberals:If the national
debt/deficit doesn't matter - as they CONSTANTLY tell me it doesn't - then why do we pay taxes? Good question. Always pay federal taxes in cash. That way, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that your cash will be burned when they get it. Actually your checks and withholding are effectively "burned" since there is no account into which the funds are deposited. The money is subtracted from your account only - the same way cash would be "subtracted" from you and then thrown away. At the federal level all taxes are only to control the amount of currency in circulation, and thus the rate of inflation. There is a huge difference between debt and deficit; debt matters since it is a liability - deficit doesn't matter nearly as much. However we are conned by the feds who equate the two and claim we have to incur debt to "finance" the deficit. That is a flat lie; if you could print money would you ever need to borrow any from anyone? The debt is just another left wing lie to destroy our country and finance our enemies. When the feds get money from external sources to purchase debt that money is also "burned" - it doesn't get deposited into some treasury account.
