Good Morning Morons. Today is Wednesday, March 25, 2015. On this day in 1634 the first English settlers arrived in St. Mary's County to found the colony of Maryland. It was founded by Catholics who were being persecuted in England at the time. They did not start passing obnoxious gun control laws to hamper the freedom of their citizens until later.

It seems that temperatures are not the only thing our government is lying to us about.
Crime stats published by the FBI and relied upon by the media distort the gun violence and leave the public with the impression "mass shooting" incidents are a much bigger threat than they really are, according to a criminologist and Second Amendment scholar. (Tom Lott) So in order to enhance his stupid gun control crap Obama has the FBI out there ginning up a pack of lies for him. You can not trust a damned thing that comes from the federal government under Obama. But I am sure the MFM will spread this "news" far and wide. <sarc> http://fxn.ws/19OiH36 Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at March 25, 2015 06:45 AM (wlDny) 9

New Mexico has passed a law ending civil asset forfeiture in NM. Other States should follow here. But this article would lead you to believe that States had previously passed laws that allowed civil asset forfeiture. That would be wrong. There has never been any law passed that allowed police to take your property without being convicted of a crime. They just do it because they like money. Every time someone has challenged them on this they lose.

The only case of windshield failure that I know of relates to a British made passenger jet. The windshield was attached from the outside and a repair crew used the wrong sized bolts when replacing the windshield. The pilot's windshield blew out at altitude, sucked the pilot out of his seat and plastered him against the fuselage skin, several crew luckily grabbed the pilot to hold him, and the copilot managed to safely land the plane. The pilot even survived.

Biggummint has been scared shitless by private cars since Nixon's day. I suppose (sigh) that the Lanza homesite will make a lovely Peace Park. Did the place where the jimp ripped the chick's face off end up a game preserve? It probably wasn't a Roman, more likely an Etruscan, who first said, You know, we may have gotten too Civilised for our own good, here. Last week's health news was that Loneliness is a Killer. WSJ now reports on an Australian study that says Anger causes heart attacks and stroke, right up there behind smoking and obesity. So when they shut the interwebz down, you can see that it's for your own good. Combine that with the Parkinson's drug that makes you all empathetic. How long before a ton of that goes in the water, what with the feds taking control of all water supplies? We're going to need thicker tin foil real soon. The only way I could believe terrorism is if someone had smuggled a gun aboard, and once they achieved cruising altitude and were cleared to move around the cabin, stormed the cockpit and shot both pilots in the head.
That should be a pretty easy scenario to discount if they have the cockpit voice recorder. A bomb would have brought the plane down much more quickly than an 8-minute descent. Posted by: Bill C. at March 25, 2015 07:36 AM (MMC8r) 93

Here is the flight track log for this flight. Everything seems normal from take off. Even have a brief hold at 30k before it ascends again. Then levels out at 38,000ft for three minutes. There is a slight loss of altitude - air turbulence? - and then at 0531EDT the plane initiates its final descent. And at 0535EDT is the last altitude reading of 24,100ft.

I'm wondering if a smallish bomb created a sudden decompression. Basically the plane flew itself into the mountain after the pilots were incapacitated. -- How come no texts or tweets from any of the passengers? They were descending rapidly for 8 minutes - that would have made at least some of them nervous. So maybe the whole plane was depressurized and everyone unconscious. Rickb223, the Airbus automated flight systems can do that if not configured correctly, override the pilots as one famous Airbus accident showed when, before cameras, it overrode the flight crew and flew the plane right into the ground. Even worse there have been cases of partial autopilot disengagement.

The Helios 737 crash occurred due to depressurization. Bad maintenance caused the leak. Knocked out everyone on board. Plane continued flying on autopilot towards Greece. F-16s were scrambled when no one could contact the plane. The F-16 pilots at first saw no one moving. Then one person was spied in the cockpit. Apparently one of the cabin crew revived, but he had no flight experience and when he did awaken the plane was just minutes away from running out of fuel. It was fuel starvation that finally brought the plane down.

Bandersnatch if that is the real CVR, I can understand why its so badly crumpled. Impact into a mountain at over 400KTS will do that.
Judging by the age of the plane, number of flights, and total flight hours; it tends to point more towards something structural. Looking at Airliner.net someone has already asked about maximum flight hours. It seems the A320 was originally designed for 48,000 cycles and/or 60,000 hours. Assuming the information on D-AIPX is correct and Lufthansa/Airbus have not initiated any fixes to extend life, this plane might have been on borrowed time. http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/tech_ops/read.main/234428/ Posted by: Anna Puma (+SmuD) at March 25, 2015 08:06 AM (VpkjW) 148

The biggest news is the military chaplain being put on suspension for teaching that homosexuality is wrong.
That is the next step in the homos war on Christianity/morality/chastity. They will eventually purge all chaplains that voice any opposition to homosexuality. The military is now essentially one big brainwashing organization for homos. After thatwill be public schools and sex ed, where students will be forced to learn that homosexuality is "normal" (this is currently done in several states). No one flies a plane into the ground (or ocean, in the case of the Malaysian airliner) for religious or political reasons without making a public statement to that effect. Here's part of the HuffPo article smearing Cruz. Read this and apply it to Obama for a good sense of their dissonace:
Cruz, in other words, has wanted this job badly ever since he made his first trip to Washington as the new senator from Texas. Moderate Republicans, Independents, and Democrats may scoff at his presidential campaign as an effort by a young and inexperienced political opportunist, but Cruz clearly believes he has at least a decent shot at the Republican nomination. And why wouldn't he? Establishment Republicans, after all, eye-rolled his 2012 primary contest in Texas, only to wake up the next morning shocked that he defeated a Republican incumbent who had tens of millions of dollars in his war chest and who seemed unbeatable. Ben Carson calls Obama a psychopath. He is a lot of things but I don't think he is that.
Definition of Psychopath from Dictionary.com: A person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc. One trait common to both Narcissists and Psychopaths: they don't care who they hurt, or how much they hurt them - since it isn't them personally being damaged. In either case Obama wouldn't care what happens to the rest of us - see: Stevens, Christopher, Ambassador - as long as he (Obama) is not harmed. From Obama's perspective it wouldn't matter if DC got nuked by the Iranians - as long as he could get away before it hit. Hey, he didn't get fried so it is all cool. I realize this was a joke, but Psychopathy is not learned behavior; it is a result of wiring and neurochemistry. http://bama.ua.edu/~alglenn1/docs/Glenn_PCNA_2008.pdf Psychopathic behavior is common among Communists. "So who are these conservatives (note plural)? The Krautman is who and he
has never been a conservative. In fact, he is a former Carter man and a Democrat." Who gives a damn? "You criticized my candidate? Well let me dig up your history from 30+ years ago! Geez, louise. Fanboys. Posted by: Shoot Me at March 25, 2015 01:52 PM (EQcfE) 287
Krauthammer voted for Carter when I was a newborn. Cruz capitulated to Obamacare this week. (And I hear he's not even American!)
What!? That's not fair? It's as fair as this girlish need to attack anybody who dares criticizes The Conservative One. Posted by: Shoot Me at March 25, 2015 02:04 PM (EQcfE) Processing 0.05, elapsed 0.0596 seconds. |
