Even in right-to-work states, there are limitations on the employer's right to fire someone. Here in AZ, which is also a RTW state, an employer cannot fire an at-will employee for reasons which violate public policy. (And if the employer does so, he/she will be liable in civil damages for wrongful termination). So, for example, an employer can't lawfully fire an at-will employee for being a whistleblower, or for being black (homosexual, Jewish, whatever). I don't know GA law, but depending on how the case law has developed there, the fire chief may indeed have a valid claim, despite it being a RTW jurisdiction.

Depends on State law. In most RTW States employers can hire and fire at will as long as they violate no federal or State discrimination laws. Most large companies however have things in place to try to avoid lawsuits.

I have a huge stack of 78rpm platters. Several Christmases back, I received a turntable that hooks up to computer by USB and plays 78, 45, or 33rpm. One of these days, I might get to transfer some of those "oldies."
The difference between those 78s and the nearly "floppy" pressed wax from the end of LP days is startling.

I think "doing Romney's" is about loving the truly dangerous opposition and hating one's allies. It's also about ignoring the massive voter fraud that got Obama elected rather than exposing it and fighting it tooth and claw. I have a good friend that I grew up with whose TV character most of you would recognize.
We met for dinner a couple of months ago and my wife and I Googled her that evening for grins. I was pretty shocked.
Even though the very popular show she was a star in ended many years ago, I was horrified to see recent paparazzi pictures of her and her daughters. She is famous enough that the press still follows her. I confess that the pictures made me angry.
I'm no fan of Bruce Jenner but am mortified at the lengths that paparazzi go to for pictures and dirt.
