Hyper-Progressive Atheist Guns Down Three Muslims in Chapel Hill, NC, In Apparent Dispute Over Parking Space

You know the media really wanted to run an #IslamophobicBacklash story, but then had to downplay it when the shooter turned out to be one of their very own.

This is obviously a horrible story, and further, if you look at the pictures at the Daily Caller, the victims look absolutely charming. I realize that's very superficial, but let's face it, I don't know them. I have nothing but superficialities to go on.

But of course these stories are never about the actual victims. Killings happen every single day, but only become part of the "National Discussion" to the extent they can advance the Obama-Democratic Storyline, as was the case in Ferguson.

And these murders, though terrible, would not have been mentioned outside the local papers but for the tantalizing hint that this would confirm and vindicate Obama's "But the Crusades" speech last Sunday.

Alas, this was not to be, the mainstream media has largely taken the position "Who cares about some dead Muslims?"

The New York Times reported on the murders and mentioned Hicks’ atheism, but not his politics. CNN did the same, as did The Washington Post.

Yet even a passive look at his Facebook page would reveal Hicks is not only a rabid atheist, but a passionate progressive.

Here are some of the things the thuggish murderer "Liked" on his Facebook page:

A review of the Facebook page of the man charged in these murders, Craig Hicks, shows a consistent theme of anti-religion and progressive causes. Included in his many Facebook "likes" are the Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Freedom from Religion Foundation, Bill Nye "The Science Guy," Neil deGrasse Tyson, gay marriage groups, and a host of anti-conservative/Tea Party pages.

Remarkably, one of the four Facebook groups he had joined was "Religious Tolerance."

Of course, most murderers are not Sexy Political Assassins but rather dreary low-impulse control Low-IQ social outcasts with repulsively trivial reasons to take a human life; so too in this case: He murdered these people, police now say, due to a dispute over a parking space.

Parking disputes can be aggravating. We all know this.

But only drearily ordinary, barely-literate, half-lunatic losers get the idea to kill people over them.

But I guess he got the idea from one of his heroes. Probably Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

Ah. Well then. "Any groups who are committing acts of terror".

That sure narrows things down in the Middle East, doesn't it?

Why, there can't be more than a few thousand different terror fronts, factions, affiliates, splinter groups, state intelligence agencies, isolated cells and disgruntled lone gunmen running around the joint.

As we have all witnessed with our own lying eyes, we cannot blame all of islam for the insane amount of violence committed daily by muslim terrorists but we sure as hell can blame all violence committed by any white person on any and all Christian Conservatives. Well at least according to leftists we can. Odd how that works.

torque, McCain's an idiot ("never underestime how dim, and how psycho, McCain is"- as I frequently say here). But that's not really the point here.

This catastrophic unintentional parody of an administration actually requests an authorization with a time limit, and some want a "no boots on the ground" feature.

Because successful, serious, responsible uses of force always involve setting up little idiotic Beltway ground rules that give the enemy a map for adaptation and counter-strategy. The Afghanistan time-table. Thing of brilliance.

205 Neil deGrasse Tyson has been known to rage about parking. Once, while driving his Ship of the Imagination, he could't find a parking spot close to the supermassive black hole he was visiting. Turned out that Stephen Hawking parked his Ship of the Imagination in the handicapped spot and did such a terrible job that Tyson couldn't park near enough without hiking a bit. "This is no good," he said. "As soon as I take a few steps, I'll be spaghettified! Damn it, Hawking!!" So he peed in Hawking's gas tank. Scientist that he is, Tyson observed his urine stream and the way it behaved so close to the event horizon. Turns out that global warming is a real thing.

224 Scientists say a worship reflex is hard-wired into humans, and that atheists often worship some form of goverment as a replacement for religious worship.

Liberals tend to be emotion-based thinkers. This may explain the tendency of liberals to commit these types of crimes. When their poorly-controlled emotions interface with their mental disturbance, very bad things happen.

Couple this with the latest An Thing: Postmodernism, where nothing matters and what if it did. How anyone can think there's no such thing as right or wrong seems just a teensy weensy bit insane to me.

It's my position that humans also need some sort of order in life. Take that away, however subtly, and all kinds of bad things start to happen.

254 As I cruised through the cable channel news at noon to see what might be a "BREAKING STORY". I had to laugh at CNN.

They are still lamenting and running a continuous funeral for Brian Williams. That is such a big deal for them , as they realize that lying might, just might have some consequences at some point if their own lies and bias starts being seriously pointed out.

Brian Williams being "punished' is one of their top stories. Because.. he is a colleague, most of then know him personally, he has such a shining star of a career, will he ever get back on TV as an anchor after six months.

Considering that he works at a competing network, I'm finding it hilarious that the anchors on CNN are so concerned for him. And they genuinely appear concerned, almost indignant that he was taken off the air.

They're journalists and as such, should be held in higher esteem than the rest of us. And that means NONE should ever be taken off the air by their employer.

318 You ever wonder why there's so much Evangelical Atheism nowadays? And why so many of them are British?

Now, I'm not talking about small-a atheism of the Ace variety. I'm talking about people who (a) don't believe in God (natch), (b) very loudly proclaim how it makes them better than everyone and (c) will not shut up in trying to convert everyone.

For us, this really goes back to Marx (perhaps before). He was the one to first articulate what I call the Atheist's Delusion. That the whole world would be better off if everybody was an atheist.

Considering that any explicitly atheist (that is, anti-theist) state has been a sociopathic basketcase, this should have been disproven, but somehow it still holds sway.

Back to the Evangelicals. I think it's exclusively a reaction to Islam. They see the problems with Islam, the havoc it creates, the degradation of the human soul. They see it especially in the UK. But they were marinated in Leftist culture. So to criticize poor people of color is racist, regardless of the reason.

But, hey, they can criticize all religions, right? Equal opportunity hatred and all that. Plus, they get in a little of the daddy-hatred and hatred of the establishment (even though Christians are not the establishment, certainly not in the UK).

Of course, they spend most of their time focusing on Christianity as "religion" rather than their real goal, but it's still a socially-acceptable negative reaction to Islam.
