You can be arrested and charged for getting out on your ATV or dirt bike after a few beers on your private wooded lot or farm if somehow a cop sees you. Justification is if injured the state may have to pick up the expenses. That is a disgrace. I've always loved winter except when is bitterly cold. I like how it looks on the trees and and the bluish grey shadows on the snow I look back with great fondness on days of sledding and skating on the canal when they had a big bonfire on the bank and we'd toast marshmallows. I would imagine that even people who hate it now have some good memories of Winter as a kid. I even liked sledding with my son when he was still young enough to enjoy it and not too cool and beyond that stuff. Here's the thing - no private school would pull stuff like this because they see parents as customers and children as revenue opportunities.
