Two of UVa's Fraternities Refuse to Sign New Nanny Rules on Parties, Giving, As a Reason, That the Pretext for All This Is a Complete F****ing Hoax

In case that matters anymore.

So far two University of Virginia fraternities are refusing to sign a new Fraternity Operating Agreement to resume social activities.
Alpha Tau Omega and Kappa Alpha have released nearly identical statements refusing to sign U.Va.’s new requirements that fraternities alter their activities following a two-month suspension on social activities. The new rules require a certain number of fraternity brothers to be sober and present and different places around the house and set limits on what kinds of alcohol can be served and in what containers.
The fraternities state two reasons for their refusal to sign on to these new rules.
The first reason is that U.Va., "for reasons that were found to be untrue, unfairly punished all members of fraternities and sororities." This is in reference to the Rolling Stone article claiming a woman was gang raped at a Phi Kappa Psi party, which resulted in the social activity ban (without any evidence other than the uncorroborated accusation).
"Because we do not accept the validity of a suspension imposed in contravention of the existing FOA, university policy, Virginia law and the constitutional rights of our members, we are not compelled to sign a revised FOA to continue operations on campus," the fraternities wrote in press releases that were put out separately but shared the same language.

They then wrote that Reason Number Two was "Go back and fucking read Reason Number One again, asshole."

Alas, the Leftist State -- which shows its powers in both official government positions as well as quasi-governmental institution -- is beyond law and reason, and will squash you just to demonstrate it can.

I assume UVA will now ban these two from any on-campus activities -- like recruiting new members. Do they pledge in spring or fall semesters? If it's fall they have half a year to figure this out. If it's spring then UVA can really fuck them over.

Woman called in to praise the Rush Revere books and also to tell Rush about how her 8th grade daughter has a bunch of classmates who refuse to say the pledge of allegiance every morning at school because they have been told and believe the pledge is propaganda.....

We do have a lot of people living here who hate this country. How else would a 13-14 year old be convinced that the pledge of allegiance is actually a right wing propaganda tool?

The funniest thing that happened in a similar vein recently was on the campus of Berkeley High School:

About 3 or 4 months ago, two African-American students "found a moose hanging from a tree on campus," and just about needed CPR to revive them from their Delicate Sensibilities Being Offended.

Within ONE HOUR, the Dean of Students (or someone with a similar title) himself issued a list of demands as a result of the "incident": anti-racism training for all white students, MORE MONEY for the black student union, a citywide day of silence and repentance, etc. etc.

This was the students demanding this -- it was the school administration itself -- demanding it of itself!

Question: how did they have the list of demands ready, all printed up, so quickly?

That alone should have set off numerous red flags, but the kicker came when some paper finally published a photo of the "noose":

It was a piece of string loosely and haphazardly entangled on a branch.

Probably from a balloon or something.

Really, there's nothing left to say at this point.

Well one big factor is the timing. The whole Rolling Stone fiasco blew up in early to mid-December which means most students were busy with final exams and then left for Christmas break so the lack of riots probably reflects that more than any agreement with the policy.
