Republicans Execute a Tactical Feint on Amnesty Designed to Fool the Base

I don't see the point of pretending this deception is real, but if you care about the manipulations of the Establishment on this issue, you can read Allah's post.

I know this is not a real post and I won't count it as one. But there's no way I'm going to pretend the GOP's silly shadow-play is something I should take seriously. They're going to sell us out, and I'm not going to act as a theater critic, judging how well they've performed their play.

With planks that support capitalism, a small, inexpensive, unobtrusive government, strong defense and borders and individual freedom and laws based on the Ten Commandments.

The political process in the United States is approaching the point at which it becomes dysfunctional.

Then what.

The President has given orders that federal regulations governing border crossing shall be ignored by federal agents charged with patrol the borders of the United States.

The solution, as advanced by the GOP leadership is to write legislation that defunds Obama's policy of ignoring border crossing regulations.

And Obama threatens to veto said legislation thus delaying any funding for the entire department charged with defending The Homeland.

What is it that DHS does, exactly?

Posted by: shredded chi at January 14, 2015 04:48 PM (q6Lzx)

I remember watching it (first run I admit it) and a news show about the show was about Vic taking the son under his wing in real life. Evidently he taught the boy about Cadillacs because he bought one himself. I guess he was a father figure for the boy. I have no idea why I remember that.

145 We do not seem to devote very much effort (though there are occasional rumblings) towards asserting control over the GOP. *That*, after all, is what the Left have done with the Dem party.

There is surprisingly little discussion here about supporting what I think may be the most viable means of doing so, via the Tea Party folk.
