I ended off 2014 with a new set of skis, new ski boots and a new (used) car. Bought it all yesterday.

Pro Tip: Buying a car at 6:30pm on Dec 31 = getting a good fucking deal. I think the sales manager would have agreed to a setting up a night with Kate Upton just to get out of there and book the sale for Q4 and 2014.

I don't know that he is Boner's guy. He may have got this post (3rd level) as a sop for conservatives who are after Boner's tail. He has an ACU rating of 100 for both the last two years. That is good indicator that he is a conservative.

I used to watch the Twilight Zone marathon every year, but a couple of years ago I bought the 28 DVD box set, so now I can watch them any time I want.

I saw a notification at Instapundit that it was on sale, and immediately snapped it up. I paid less than $100 for it, but it is well worth it even at the current listed price.

The episodes are transfers from the original black & white film, so they are literally HD. It's remarkable that we are able to see those episodes in higher quality today than the original first-run viewers saw on their 1960 B&W televisions.

I was late in watching Rescue Me & bought first 3-4 seasons & have only watched first on the DVD.

That's why I asked. In some cases it's better to watch when they're on, at least in my case.
I'm never buying any DVDs until I watch seasons of Rescue Me that I didn't watch. I've probably had for 5 years now.

Conservative Review gives all ratings for Scalise. He started out as conservative but wanted leadersho positions & ratings have gone down since, as is to be expected.

IIRC, the Rose Parade was originally an ad for the city of Pasadena to show off to the rest of the country how Pasadena was warm enough to have flowers bloom in the middle of Winter, while the rest of the country was up to their necks in snow...
