Fundamental Concepts - Quick Hits [Weirddave]

I didn't do one of these today, but in light of the murder of twp NYPD officers, Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos, I thought I'd bring up one quick concept that too many people tend to forget or understandably shy away from.

This is what they do.

The political left in this country is comprised primarily of people who have a background as, or the mindset of, "community organizers". The job of a community organizer is to make things worse. They are the ones throwing gasoline on the fire and rubbing salt in the wounds. Their job is to sew turmoil, discord and hate. They work to prevent accord from being reached, to end cooperation between peoples and to head off agreement. They are professional shit stirrers.

Why?

Ideologically, their reason is to destroy western civilization so that it can be replaced with a collectivist Utopia. That's great and all, but it's kind of fuzzy. Personally, however, their motivation is pure personal profit. There's not a single one of these sons of bitches that doesn't get rich ripping the scabs off of wounds, and in that lies the ultimate irony. They decry the capitalist and free marketeer as promoting a system based upon the assumption that people act from in own self interest, while at the same time demonstrating all of the traits that they condemn, proving that the capitalist was right in the first place. Human nature is human nature. None of this should surprise anyone who is a student of history, yet somehow it always does.

A peaceful, prosperous community or nation does not need community organizers. Community organizers, on the other hand, can't function in a peaceful, prosperous nation, so they are always, ALWAYS, striving to destroy it.

None of this is new, or surprising. We just need to remember who these people are.

Been poking around. Conflicting signals. Killer posted quranic verse, might mean nothing. I'd like to know if he was a regular attendee at a mosque. But I would think when surrounded by more police he would have started shooting and gone out like a martyr if this was an islamist attack of some sort. Also, he invoked Garner and Brown, not allah.

He shot his girlfriend in Baltimore and was on the run. He knew the manhunt was on and was on the run. The second shooting may have been an afterthought, a way to go out in glory in front of the brothers.

So, they want something quick -- and there's a Chinese restaurant right around the corner from our house that's very fast. They go to our bin of local menus, figure out what they want and call it in. Then the sister drives to the place around the corner and.....nothing there. His dad, a Duke professor, became one of the Group of 88 (Crystal Mangum and the Duke Lacrosse players). Both Ma and Pa Lefty have been participating in the Moral Monday protests in Raleigh.

He grew up pushing his weight around, generally mocking those lesser or unfortunate ones, like me (funny, they want to make a poster child of the poor, and they like putting us down, too, even us of the "weaker sex). From 8th grade until I graduated, he was a Grade A pest, specifically saying nasty things about my sister, who was three years older, who he never formally met, while I ignored him at my locker. I wish I had punched his lights out.

He pursued Student Government Politics, even the prized position of President, then brought a condom to his campaign speech and said that politician's promises were like unreliable condoms, and poked a hole in it to show us.

On graduation day, he made a big ruckus, wanting to rally the class to protest with white arm bands that the KKK was going to march (all 3 of the KKK) in downtown Chapel Hill. Our black assistant principal told him to shut his mouth and get back in line.

He was generally disliked and annoying, but such a bully, that most kids giggled, and kids like me avoided steered clear.

He went to Colgate and studied, get this, Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.

He ended up working for labor (UNITE), where he whipped up some fantastical story about some "corporate ruffian" stalking him at night. Yeah, right. All this to groom his own image for someday-politics, no doutb. Old guard union folks don't like his kind, as he was the new face of unions - not the working stiff, but the college educated elite who hijack their cause to launch his aspirations. Apparently, he was generally disliked by coworkers and roundly called an asshole.

Then he went to work for John Edwards, as his Sr Advisor. That gave him enough Huffington Post attention to pen several nasty pieces about Republicans - oh how evil they are. Why not? With a fawning press and a rising star like Edwards ... well, we all know what happened with those hopes and dreams.

So when that little charade folded, he jumped ship and launched ...

(think hard now ... he missed the Obama bandwagon, because he was on Edward's, so what would be hot right about the time his ride petered out? That's right ... Green Energy)

After a brief stint unsuccessfully selling political strategy through the contracting labor movement, he reinvents himself as an expert in the "clean economy" ... better let him explain this ...

"G2 creates good jobs and strong shared returns through value adding partnerships between innovative clean economy, education and health care entrepreneurs and investors with unions and mission aligned constituencies."

Coming soon to a political stage near you ....

And I'll be happy to throw money behind his opponent when that day comes.
