30 The frozen passenger corpsicles bob gently in the water, their life's heat sucked relentlessly from them by the frigid sea . . .

A gigantic hand descends from above, scooping hundreds of dead up, up, out of their watery grave.

Rescuers, shocked by the sight, are nearly driven to madness by the next sounds they hear . . .

The tinkle of ice hitting glass . . .

The pouring sound of what those still clinging to sanity surmise must be at least 12 year old Irish Whiskey. . .

And a low, satisfied chuckle . . . followed by a sip.

91 So agree about Titanic being porn for history lovers ... oh, never mind the stupid plot and the stupider (and historically inaccurate) main characters ... just give us the background sets, baby! Ohh, some more of the First Class Dining Room ... and the Boat Deck promenade. Oh, yes ... yes, yes!

The set was all so gorgeous ... really, watching it all - and seeing how solid and beautiful the ship itself was, I could see how people would have been reluctant at first to get into the lifeboats.

What - you mean all this is going to sink into the cold Atlantic? No - you can't be serious!
