Haley Barbour: Chris McDaniel Wants to Cut Federal Spending!

By revealing the true nature of their objection to the Tea Party, they reveal their own true natures as well.

Haley Barbour is hoppin' mad that Chris McDaniel wants to cut federal education spending, suggesting, clumsily, that this is an issue of importance to African Americans, and agreeing with the MSNBC host's suggestion that McDaniel is "walking a fine line" of racism by objecting to Cochran's attempts to gin up Democratic voters to save his seat.

Whoops: The following Mother Jones item was published back in January. It's not, as I thought, part of the current blitz against McDaniel.

Mother Jones, meanwhile, reports that Chris McDaniel said, back in 2006, that Hollywood was determined to never feature Muslims as terrorist bad guys in their fictions. They note that 24 featured Muslim terrorists in three seasons (though they forget to also note that in each season the real bad guys were the White Militarists who were actually controlling terrorists to get Military Funding).

They also note The Siege as a movie featuring terrorist bad guys, again, overlooking the fact that the bad guys in The Siege were White Christian Government Officials who overreact to a terrorist attack and literally round up all the Muslims and put them into internment camps.

No really that's the plot of the film. The film isn't about Muslim terrorism, it's about the terrorism of Islamophobia.

In any event, one can argue about this or that, but Mother Jones' attempt to gin this up into another Speechcraft Trial is as ludicrous as it is ludicrous.

Sorry, that's the only word I could come up with. So I just went with it.

Politico has an interesting story noting that in one-party-town Mississippi, the establishment runs the show almost unopposed, and a McDaniel win will have bigger consequences than just the establishment losing a Senator. It would also mean a possible end to the Establishment's hold on most other offices.

"If Chris is victorious, and I think he will be on Tuesday, it’s a game-changer and you look at your options," said state Sen. Michael Watson, McDaniel’s closest ally in the state Senate. "It's not just this United States Senate race. I think it's a dynamic you're going to see continue going forward to redefine the Republican Party in Mississippi.

...

On the sidelines of a McDaniel rally last week, conservative state Sen. Tony Smith predicted turbulent times ahead.

"I think Chris's campaign has awakened a lot of Mississippians to the fact that some of our elected officials, maybe, are not as conservative as we would have thought," Smith said. "With Chris's victory, I think you're going to see opportunities for others and I think you're going to see a lot going on in 2015."

One-Party-Towns always make for bad government. Competition is always healthy and hygienic. I cannot imagine any real downside to the old boy network losing some levers of power. A fearful elective class is a responsive elective class.

Monoliths are for museums and science fiction movies.

Oh Yeah I Forgot: McDaniel has been linked to the Klan by the Daily Beast.

Get this: The lawyer for a Klansman donated $800 to McDaniel.

So, the Daily Beast now reports: McDaniel has a "KKK Connection."

7 TheBlaze:
A young illegal immigrant child from Central America was diagnosed with swine flu Friday after crossing the Texas-Mexico border, necessitating 2,000 vaccines be shipped to Lackland Air Force Base to treat people who may have been exposed, U.S. authorities confirmed to TheBlaze.

The child was diagnosed after being transported from a border holding facility to the base, where he showed signs of illness and had to be hospitalized. It's the first known case of the H1N1 virus to be diagnosed among the recent surge of unaccompanied immigrant children to arrive at the base, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said.

25 Cut Spending

Example:
Our national parks were closed, no entry to US citizens, in order to facilitate the illegal alien entries and "open" drug cartel market into the US asap, because Obama's sequestration spends EVERYTHING he wants to spend on his favorite agendas, which always negate honoring his official duties as POTUS, and dissolves rule of law.

Given Obama's administration, at the very least: Cut Spending!

He told O'Reilly that after 9/11 he had to admit that when he got on a plane and there were Arab looking men on board, he would become very nervous and afraid.
So NPR went all batshit crazy with calls of racism. Because, you know, it was so racist to become alarmed at Arab men sitting on a plane, which was the exact scenario that killed three thousand Americans and others. So, NPR fired Juan Williams while patting themselves on the back for being so progressive and intolerant of any hint of racism . Roger Ailes decided the noble (and smart marketing ) thing to do was to offer Juan a contract in which he is able to say whatever lefty stuff he wishes to say on Fox without fear of being told to shut up by the network in contrast to the public network he was just fired from.

178 Well better a lawyer for the KKK than a lawyer who destroys 15 year old rape victims to get a pedophile off whom she knows is guilty and is quite likely to rape again. Except the pedo lawyer is running for president, not donating to a candidate.

What is it with democrats and pedophilia? First Harry Reid the pederast is revealed to be a member of NAMBLA and a proponent of the legalization of his preferred life-style, man-boy love, then we find out hillary's law career mostly consisted of defending NAMGLA members who raped girls. Nancy Pelosi has also spoken at length about the need for tolerance and acceptance of pedophiles and called her love of pre-teen girls "a beautiful, wonderful thing". Even obama has admitted that, back in his teen-age dog-eating days, he enjoyed the love of older men and now he reciprocates by fondling children. This is just beyond the pale, at least to me. Where is the media on this?
