I do not wish her ill health, but if elected, and if she were to pass in office from health issues, I would expect the Administration to fire up "Weekend at Bernies" ,and start taking copious notes.

So Joe Biden brandished a squirt gun and mock-threatened some reporters saying that anybody who wrote a 'bad' story about him would be 'dead'. Does the man not realize how esteemed and revered he is among the young adult psychopath segment of our society? That particular demographic emulates his every move. How many disaffected losers who see him as a role model will be inspired to act out on these fantasies?

The link is badly written. The story is that a billboard announcing her book signing was defaced with the word "BENGHAZI." Hillary's "hometown" is reminding her of Benghazi as a stain on her record, not that the town itself reminds her of Benghazi.

58 I'm not sure why an ambassador's sexual preference is relevant to their job performance. I kinda find that whole line of thinking juvenile (identity does not equal qualifications or skills).

However, the idea of purposely placing a gay or transgender ambassador in a country that is hostile/violent toward their sexual preference/identity is stupid. It sets the ambassador for poor relations from the get-go, and may even put them in physical danger.

Pepe was found on the ground and was captured by the guy who takes care of them when needed. According to the info on the site, he seems to be ok, just a little weak from lack of food. After eating three quails on Saturday, they installed a transmitter on him, then released him. His dad has fed him since then.

Another one was rescued from a stream where he looked to be stuck with a broken wing. He's now at a volunteer rescue center where he's being treated. No one has seen the third one, so hopefully he's not grounded somewhere and is doing fine.

115 Next door to the new Whole Foods is a new multi-unit housing development going up. Can't rightly call them apartments as they look like downtown "lofts" but rather than being converted warehouses, they are built that way from the get go. Now I'm 25 miles from downtown. The high school kids joke about how many cows they pass each morning between their nicely manicured subdivisions and their school, which also butts up to a large cow pasture.

I moved out here to avoid/escape/stay away from the "Urban Energy" of Houston. Now it's being manufactured, built and developed 2.5 miles away from my house. FML.

Arguably true, but the wonks the left does have are granted godlike status in the media, where the wonks we have (legion though they are when you look at think tanks) are "partisan operators" or "hacks" and get disclaimers in front of everything they do.

That's the true wonk gap. (At least as this wonk sees it.)

127 Hillary not "well off" and earned money through "hard work"?

Hmmmm... when was the last time she has a job where she was required to show up daily and was paid according to results?

Correction. Has she ever had such a job?

As for "well off", one's inability to pay bills in a timely fashion due to their failure to live (or run campaigns) within the means provided by sycophantic foreign and domestic billionaires, lifetime public pensions, multimillion dollar book deals, and taxpayers bearing the cost of virtually all living expense for the majority of your life is not the same as being broke.

Then again, all liberals think this way. They're "broke" because they have not yet gotten their "fair share" of other people's money through their "hard work" of collecting a government check in exchange for doing nothing. Yup. It's hard damn work collecting your guaranteed cash each month on via direct deposit to your government issued EBT card.

Of course, like Hillary, whatever menial actions liberals may occasionally take are usually criminal and result in destruction and deaths of others. Perhaps we should focus more on keeping them safely locked away in their publicly funded mansions.

It's good to know, at least, that Hillary and Bill's poverty didn't interfere with the royal wedding of their daughter to a trust fund baby that we all celebrated a few years ago.

147 Obama, for all his stupidity and ineptitude, didn't "break" the Middle East.

But he certainly did pour gasoline on smoldering embers that GW Bush was putting out.

Jimmy Carter couldn't understand why we had a strategic relationship with the Shah of Iran. As a result of the fall of the Shah, millions in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and elsewhere have died that shouldn't have. Jimmy Carter was and is a reckless doddering old fool.

You wonder why these people (Arabs) are crazy, it's because of the de-constructive violence from Islam that keeps pulling them backwards. Every time some sort of Western idea enters (communism, baathism or even.....democracy!), that might start to pull them out of the Hobbesian wilderness of Islam, Islam fights back, and pulls them back into the muck.

Islam is living, breathing de-constructivism that the decadent intellectuals crave for the West. This is what is looks like, when you take away reason, thought, logic and the sovereignty of the individual.

This is why the Left pretends to tolerate and like Islam, is because it is the tool of deconstruction. Chaos. Nihilism, which they crave. That's who puts those stupid "COEXIST" stickers on their bumpers.

Obama thinks it is funny to set fire to the Middle East. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

"an Internet adage reflecting the idea that without a clear indication of the author's intent, it is difficult or impossible to tell the difference between an expression of sincere extremism and a parody of extremism"

Basically saying that "people probably do say that" with a corollary of "that makes me sad."

Many states require this as well, just no one does it.

Also IIRC a few states passed laws requiring the collection of sales tax (but it seems to be also poorly enforced.)

Oh and if you're wondering why Amazon is so gung ho for an internet sales tax two reasons: 1) it levels the playing field for them expanding to every state (i.e. they're going to lose their advantage so they're trying to take it from others.)
2) they sale a sales tax calculation software suite.

172 83 I have to admit this up front. I coached my two daughters soccer teams for years now and I like the sport. I enjoy the matches. That being said, it cracks me up whenever I read or hear about someone liking soccer because it's European and therefor, superior for some reason.

What they don't realize is that soccer is the most pedestrian sport in Europe. It's their version of Basketball in the ghetto-- uh, urban cities. Kids are given a ball to kick around as soon as they can walk.

There is nothing elite about it.

So, she wrote an advice columnist in the wapo. Hijinks ensue.

Didn't you know that, under Clinton, we were at peace with the world, the economy was booming, we had a budget surplus, and the only bad thing that happened was when Republicans falsely accused Bill of getting a blow job so they could try to impeach him and make slavery legal again? Back then we were allied with Bin Laden and sent him arms and money so he could bring peace to the repressed people of Afghanistan. The USS Cole thing was just a freak boating accident; probably resulting from Cheney's Halibuton making bad gas.

190 Some of you tabletop gamers will get this, my apologies to the rest.

Anyway, I run a game of Castles and Crusades on a periodic basis. Game group contains a number of left-wingers. Intelligent people, but up-to-their-eyeballs in "compassionate leftism."

It helps I used to speak their language, but a game group is a game group.

However, my game is a case study on leftist indoctrination and infiltration. In this case, they are slowly discovering how an ancient civilization collapsed after being denounced, slandered, and infiltrated by those motivated only by the will to power.

So they found some info in one of the buried temples that describes this, and as I'm going over the tactics of the bad guys, they are all listening along, nodding.

"Sound familiar?" I'm thinking.

It's astonishing how they can accept that individualism and self-made success are perfectly fine in a game, and even to be protected, but when it comes to real life, well, that sort of thing is raciss/misogyniss/coldhearted.

The next step will be when they come across the propaganda used in the ancient days - it will mirror, very closely, soviet and modern liberal propaganda.

It's a stupid, small thing, but I'm curious to see how they react to it.

I was briefly brought in by the DM to try and rescue their D+D campaign. It was infiltrated with West Coast Socialists to the 99th degree. They never learned to pause and regroup after an encounter. And even when there was an encounter, they tried to reason with the monsters.

The worse though, this deity told the group you have to be at a certain spot in X days. Party does not even get a day out of the city before being attacked and idiots tripping traps while everyone is low on spells... and they look at my cleric and I shrug 'you want me to heal you or fight to save you, can't do both.' So after barely surviving that stupidity and instead of camping there, they go back to the city. And next morning the guards in the employ of the deity haul all of us off to be castigated.

I simply walked away from that campaign after telling the DM that whole group needs to die and the DM never brings up that campaign in my presence.

No, I won't. I'm being as subtle as I can be. I'd never go so far as to use modern terminology like "collectivist" or "progressive." I'll stick with the "their beauty and power comes at your expense!" or "Forward!"They've unearthed a priestess of an ancient religion, one 3000 years forgotten, that managed to put her entire temple in stasis before the corruption of the enemy destroyed her. The other temples weren't as lucky. This priestess is the earthly epitome of kindness, beauty, and individual success - the hierarchy was purely merit based.Needless to say, the ancient totalitarians didn't like her ilk.Since lifting the stasis, my players have allied with her, sympathetic to the assault on her, and are going to the other buried temples to cleanse the corruption that overtook them - all before more modern influences find the powers buried there and use them again. So they are already fished in. Now it's just a matter of finding information that tells the more complete story of how lies and manipulation were used to turn good people into zealots.Very subtle, very slow.

I actually read the article, and there's clearly a lack of communication between this unhappy couple.
But the messed up woman writing the letter seems to think that by not doing various things her relationship will turn out better.

Without any specifics I'd hazard to guess this is going to be wrong about as often as it is right.

I'd say neither of them is ready to settle down for a life time commitment given that they're more concerned with their own feelings than the other partner's.

285 To think we look down our nose at the ME for engaging in sectarianism. I'd the USA is hip deep with sectarianism. The Executive gas been largely purged of "protestants" and lax firmly in the control of non-protestants. It's composed of grievance blocs headed by the oldest and most practiced grievance bloc. The House is largely protestant. Mayors line up with the Executive while Governors line up with the House. The Senate is fractured. I suspect the Executive is now a closed branch that uses the NSA to grade applicants and reject or ignore based on where the person or persons family profile falls on the Intel spectrum.

Not really. IIRC, Stevens had a lot of experience in the ME, spoke Arabic, etc. He seemed like a good choice regardless of his sexual preference (though they should have considered it when making decisions about his security, etc.).

Sounds like what Kerry is pledging to do is make an ambassador's LGBT status a decider, something he will seek out, a quota. That's backwards.

449 No one fears the neocons anymore. Calling people Jew haters does not work anymore to silence people. The pro Islamic stances of the neocons are visible for all to see. No amount of calling their critics Jew haters will work in covering up their Islam loving agenda.

Its over neocons and people are onto your lies and smears.

Once more from the top. We need more capitalization and exclamation.

ok? I think you're on the wrong blog. I doubt very much there is a
single person here who wouldn't pull up a chair with a fuck ton of
popcorn and watch the muzzies fight themselves to extinction. Half would
probably fap over it. Any of their opinions on Rand Paul is completely
separated from allowing the muzzies to go carbon neutral. I will say with extreme confidence that if given a chance to wipe out islam with a push of a button 90% here would push it and giggle themselves to sleep. If you think for a moment that there are any muslim sympathizes here then your head is so far up your fucking ass you're probably tasting your own prostate.

487 So the government has now done to the health care market what they long ago did for higher education ... create a perfect market for the seller.
Until ObamaDoesn'tCare, only colleges had the advantage of being able to examine your finances to see exactly how far they could reasonably be able to push you into debt.
Now the health care industry can too.
