Up by 3 at RCP average, that means he'll win by 8 if it keeps up.

-the first poll to be taken there in over a week--shows Democrat Joe Sestak pulling ahead of Republican Pat Toomey by three points. Its a big comeback, since Toomey's led for the past five months. So today, Daily Kos is adding Joe Sestak to the Orange to Blue page, and looking for 500 people to contribute $10 to his campaign. This is the sort of win that would stop Republicans across the country. If we grab a win in Pennsylvania, Republicans would only have a 0.5% of taking control of the Senate. End Republican hopes...If we pull off an upset in the Pennsylvania, Republican plans fall apart across the country. This campaign is a linchpin. The Dems will spin Nov 3rd as Okay because they may still hold the Senate.
Yet if the GOP can get 40 conservatives who won't cave, it can stop Obamas agenda, judges etc. Then in 2012 the Dems have to hold over 20 Senate seats- good luck with that considering that Barry is going to try to run things through executive fiat, infuriating 60+ percent of the country. Just a hair off topic, but... Good news, conversatives and patriots!
Even though we've been debating amongst ourselves whether Obama will seek re-election in 2012, and even though Obama has not announced publicly, Slow Joe Biden told the world that Obama has tapped him to be his 2012 running mate, dispelling myths and rumors that Hillary was in instead. That means Obama is running for re-election (really, did we have any doubt?). That ought to motivate people to vote to take back the House and the Senate. I don't know about you, but if I'd been sitting on the fence and thinking about staying home, that would have been enough to get me off the couch. http://tinyurl.com/3a8gtw7 Posted by: Keith Arnold at October 14, 2010 02:46 PM (Jdtsu) 48

56: Hi Mindy, I'm trying to work myself up to do some kind of GOTV. Looks like it will have to be next saturday though. I don't see any sunday scheduled events and I have work and prior plans until 23rd.
I've only read those props in my sample ballot. One of them is to reduce vehicle license renewal fee to $10, which is probably going too low. Another one would limit cities/districts issuing bonds --which I think they already have to get voter approval to fund them with any new taxes thanks to Tabor. So right now I'm inclined to vote no. I don't want the state raising income taxes to make up shortfall from user fees --even though it seems they have jacked many user fees beyond what the services cost to get around Tabor.
