Ron Paul to endorse Cynthia McKinney and other cranks
...will instead give his seal of approval to four candidates: Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney, Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr, independent candidate Ralph Nader, and Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin, according to a senior Paul aide...

1 How shocking that the preferred candidate of many anti-Semites throws his support to Cynthia McKinney

2 More comedy gold from Ron Paul!

3 Endorsing Baldwin and Barr would be quixotic and idealistic, if pointless. Endorsing unrepentant communists like McKinney or Nader just shows Doktor Paul is beyond sanity.

4 Because Cynthia McKinney represents the ideals of Ron Paul...............

5 With current market conditions it's not surprising that we're seeing consolidation of teh crazy. Maybeby merging into a single party they can achieve significant jew-hatin' synergy.

7 Indeed Sean Bannion, indeed. I have made the mistake of arguing 'til I was redfaced with supporters of various third party types, especially in these tense political times. I would say I hope they just give it up and stay home, but I'd rather they see the light and vote McCain/Palin.

8 His endorsement is so powerful it has to be spread out over four "candidates".
Posted by: Javems at September 10, 2008 01:23 PM (hq71Y)
Makes sense. He believes in limited govt. Even the Donks would be suicidal to go with her on anything. She would probably be tied up in impeachment proceedings. Hard to get anything done at that point. Voila . Limited govt.

10 I'd call him a tool ...but that's a little bit like calling water wet. Ron Paul is a self-parody however, paulbots.

11 This year's protest/outsider/rebel vote is going to Palin. Paul can't even play the spoiler.

12 I was hoping he and Pat Buchanan would team up on an Anti-Zion party ticket to further fragment and confuse the jooooo haters but endorsing McKinney is the next best thing. btw, how does Cynthia embody anything of a "green" nature other than "recycling" her speeches from her 23 word vocabulary?

14 Why does this goober bother to call himself a republican? Why does the republican party continue to allow him to call himself a republican and tarnish the brand? If the R's ever get back in power, they need to exclude him from all committees, and write spending bills specifically to bypass any and all federal spending in his district. Let his constituents pay the price for continuing this embarrassment on the national stage.

20 btw, how does Cynthia embody anything of a "green" nature other than "recycling" her speeches from her 23 word vocabulary?
The Watermelon Party--"green" outside, commie red inside. The communists realized their "Peace and Freedom" (sic) Party wasn't selling anymore, and they decided to open a new "storefront" so to speak.

28 The Republican bus ran over Buchanan and left him behind in the late 1990s. He still has a presence on news shows as a "conservative"because most Americans don't know any better.
As for Paul, I got no defense for that guy. I recommend the Republicans bounce him from the Party.
The thing about his district, though, is that it's like Charlie Wilson's district in the 1980s. I know the area; the people who live there don't needmuch from the federal government. They'll take the pork if it's offered to them, but they can live fine without it. Oil and chemical interests employ most of the people; welfare cases drift into Houston. As I see it they found the most annoying twat in the area and exiled him to Washington, telling him never to come back.

No, you only get to vote once. You can, however, get three illegal aliens to register, and have them vote for the other three Paul-endorsed candidates.

35 Yeah, no doubt. I was going to comment on Paul endorsing McKinney, but what's even worse is the allegedly legit-wannabe status of the Green Party. They seriously cannot find anyone better to run for them than a certifiable nutjob ? I doubt she even has a clue what the Green Party stands for. No question what the Green Party stands for is foolish for the most part, but shouldn't someone that BELIEVES in their party platform be their nominee ???

37 This shows what utter bullshit the Ronbots are. If Ron Paul was truly a libertarian, there is no way he could ever endorse McKinney or Nader. Both of them are big-spending socialists. A "true libertarian" would run as far away from them as possible, except to hold them up as a bad example.
If the RonBashing hasn't begun yet, let it now commence.

48 Ron Paul didn't endorse Cynthia McKinney. Of course don't let facts get in the way of the NeoCon hacks at Ace's flop house.
Ron Paul said voters should vote third party because there's really not a lot of difference between the two major parties. Guess what. He's right. Both McCain and Obama favor importing 40 million poor Hispanics into the USA. They both favor continuing the needless war in Iraq. They differ around the edge on taxes and spending. Obama wants to spend billions on social programs. McCain wants to spend billions on more needless foreign wars. If you want to vote for a conservative Chuck Baldwin is a good choice. McCain or Obama. both establishment hacks.
