As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I grew up in a very jewish area outside of Philly. We used Yiddish words in our English at least as much as anyone. We were familiar with Yiddish theater, Yiddish songs and the the anglicized aspects of Yiddish. My friends used Yiddish words liberally in our English and we all cursed quite a bit. I spent about ten years living in Manhattan on the upper west side ... and I have never in my life heard "schlong" used as a verb. NEVER. Never ever ever.

And people are generally ignoring the temporary part. And normally I would think that was the lack of attention to detail of low information voters. But even LIV can think "until we come up with a better process" is something that isn't going to happen. They think the word temporary is some kind of hand-waving. A lot of people assume that if the federal government had a better process, it would have happened already. I believe this is gross neglect but I don't know.
FYI If I thought that feeding the dead terrorists to pigs on live tv would dissuade a terror attack in the future, I would do it. Appealing to the better angels of future suicidal murderers will not prevent a single death.
I don't think that Trump will be the next president, which is why I find his campaign more amusing than most people.

Perhaps. I'm not saying they're absolute validation but this Dr. says he saw something and it changed his outlook and he wasn't religious. He began to believe in God, not in Jesus. Jesus said there was an afterlife I believe him but one person i know didn't have a near death experience. They died and were brought back to life and they saw what they said was heaven.
However, people who say this "There is no afterlife" are making an assumption with no evidence and they're just saying it to be pains in the backside to religious people

A witnessed a samiliar dynamic between my father and his siblings. He came back from Vietnam, married and worked his whole life. His sister became a housewife right out of HS and never worked a day 50 years on and his brother worked less than a year on state job before getting full disability (unknown back pain). Flaming socialists both. Luckily I haven't seen them in over 20 years and probably never will again.

Obama of course won't say that Trayvon was right to attack Zimmerman, or that Brown's robbery and assault on an officer were righteous. But who can believe POTUS did not know the details, when bloggers could quickly find them? Obama chose thugs to be his martyrs and promoted them nationally, to the point of inciting violence.
Why assume Obama is in denial, when he has always lied his way to power? When he says to Christians "don't get on your high horse", and compares the terrorism to the Crusades, he is in effect admitting it is an Islamic movement. But he feels America is a colonialist Christian invader, and is sympatico with the Muslim invasion. He has deliberately given (radical) Islam room to riot in the ME and Africa, and now here, in calling off investigations.
It seems more likely Obama is just lying, not delusional.

If the GOP candidates had any balls, here's what they'd do instead of the pansy-assed "condemnations" they're currently vomiting:
- all WaPo press credentials immediately revoked;
- any WaPo reporter found at a candidate's event to be immediately ejected with extreme prejudice;
- no WaPo reporter to be given any access to the candidate until Telnaes and her editor are fired, without pensions.
- if these conditions are not met, make it very clear the WaPo will have absolutely no access to a GOP administration.

IC, let me second the possibility of high blood pressure. I was at the point where I was actually in a fog all the time and it was simply because my BP was in orbit. The doc put me on meds and I'm much better now.

This week is promising to try and kill me. Dialysis on Monday, a visit to the wound doctor for my left foot and an angioplasty on my fistula yesterday THEN go help a neighbor move some furniture around (just needed to get her tree up), off to the hospital today for another angioplasty (this time for my left leg) and dialysis, cook for tomorrow and Christmas Day, dialysis again on Saturday.
Not a year end rush- just everything lined up that way.
