Mr. John Cappelletti....

untitled.bmp

Runningback for Penn State. Won the Heisman in '73. Now lives in Southern California, married, kids and a career in the Bio-tech biz.

Cripes, trying to find a decent picture of him was a pain...but worth it.
Lord, he's a big'un..6'1" and 260+ lbs. when he played football. Daaaamn.

What is it with me and cute old football players tonight?

1 Oh yeah. I do remember him. And he never made me cry like Brian Piccolo did!

2 But, but, but....did ya see the Heisman speech?
In the movie? Maaaan, the instant Marc Singer starts blubbering, I'm on the floor.
Aw, hell...any time a man cries, I'm mush. I become the world biggest 'wanna-fix-it' chick there ever was. It just tears at my heart so bad.
Even on TV, even in reruns. The bigger the guy is, the harder it hits me.
Seeing Dan Conner cry on Roseanne is almost more than I can stand. Archie Bunker, too...football players, cowboys (in '8 Seconds')...any man, any time. He cries, I've gotta help. I at least wanna hold 'im, til he stops...even if it takes days....weeks. He hurts, I holds. That simple.
ESPECIALLY if it's over some stupid bitch-woman. I like being able to do that the absolute most. I always feel like I'm lettin' him see how a woman SHOULD be and act and treat him. Instead of screwin 'im up, a woman-especially HIS woman-should be helping. If they can't help, or if they did the rotten shit to begin with, then they (the women) should either go or be dragged away by the hair.
Then shot.

3 Hey, everyone. John Cappelletti, and Joey, are both my uncles. Now, I am reading the speech at forensics at my school, and I wish that my uncle could attend, though he lives in California. Wish me luck!

4 Hi:

I have an envelope to forward to John. Do you have an email address. I worked for the Chargers when John played there.
