What an excellent rainy day this is turnin' out to be....

Man.

First off, I GOT THE CARPORT DONE!!!!! Thank you, Jesus...
I feel like I finally got my "kid's pigsty" cleaned, like my mother used to do in my bedroom every so often when she just couldn't take it anymore, and I love seeing the Bird parked in there all safe and dry and outta the weather.

Second...

the horses are all in and safe and dry, too. We brought 'em in last night and I groomed everybody. Did everything except tails. After the carport, I didn't have enough 'back' left for that shit. It's still kinda stiff now, actually...

Third, the house is at 95% homeostasis... (yeah. I can see where I'll be watching "Bio-Dome" today...) This includes, by the way, all the rugs and clothes and shit from out in the carport that have been waiting for, like... EVER to be washed.

Aside from that, all that's left to do to the house are the floors. Vacuum and mop, whatever, whenever. I'm pretty casual about them, because this is a farm and dirt is just... a fact. So is hay, animal hair, cow poop, mud, straw, feathers... you name it, I can probably get ya some offa the floor.
(Jeez, do I wish "money" was on that list.)

All I have to do today (as in "must do" and "oughta go on and do") is cook dinner later, do the nailtips and the highlight kit on my hair. And, I actually listed that in the exactly backwards order that I'll probably do it in.
(Ow. That last sentence hurt my brain...)
What I meant was I'll be doing the hair first, then the nailtips, then dinner. I'll vacuum when I get a round toit.

And, I really want one, too. A round "toit". I've seen one before. It looked kinda like a potholder, except it had the words, "A toit", printed on it and it was round.

Find me one of those and I'll worry about the stupid floors, ya know?

Aaanyway, the REAL reason for this post is this lady. Found her in the Site Meter and she is cool!!!

You can just see it in her picture, then if ya still need more proof, just read her bio. Then, read her posts. She also has some really cool people blogrolled. Go see. Pack a lunch, take your time. There's a LOT there.

Oh, and I don't know if any of this next bit matters, buuut, I'mina throw it out here anyway...

I linked Liz through Mozilla, BUT, I hafta switch over to IE to see her page correctly, just like I do Greg's. So, I don't know if that's gonna make it render weird, or not. Linked thru Moz, best viewed in IE. (This shit also makes my brain hurt...) Like I said, I don't know if it even matters, but I just wanted to mention it.

Okay then... if any of ya's get within Bic flickin' distance of a candle, ya might wanna g'head and light it for me. I'm gonna go do da hair.

I'll letcha's know when I know how it went.

Peace
