Muuuch better...

Wow.

I finally got to sleep for more than 45 minutes in a row. Geez. I almost don't know how to act....

Oh yeah.
All "egotistical" because of women's stupid reactions to me... that's right.
*preen*

I got the house done, except for vacuuming. I was gonna do that too, but the idea of dragging R2-D2 around by the weenie at that point in my life was a bit much. (Shop vac- no attachments, remember?) So, I got a shower, washed the hair and went to bed around 7am or so.

Slept til Jessie got here, around 1pm.

"Who's Jessie?", you ask..

The new Quarter Horse we've got. (Also given to us. This makes 5 or 6 free horses in my life. I must be doing something right...)

Yeah, another one. This is getting to be kinda fun now. *knocks on wood*
He's another older horse, very well built, pretty- a bay- and he seems okay so far. Of course, he's only been here a coupla hours and he's not met our guys yet, but... it'll work out eventually, I'm sure.

On the automotive front... one out of the three guys showed up. *rolls eyes, sighs, then giggles* Men.... *shaking head*

The other two are coming tomorrow.
Well, fine.
More time for me to get the house "finished" anyway, so neener, neener....

What else? Anything? Well, I gave the pigeon, Walter (Walter Pigeon? Whomever he really is? I forget...), a chance to see if he can fly right yet and that was a "Nope", so he's back in his house for a while longer. I'm so torn when it comes to him... I hate the idea of a wild bird being caged, but caged is muuuch better than "eaten by a cat", soooo...
Poor lil thing.
(Yeah... "poor lil thing" being fed horse grain, having clean water every day and being safe... how sad... *shyeah*)

Oh yeah... I do have "drafted" a new and even scarier list of search terms people are getting here with.... I'll do that sometime later.

*About 30-35 minutes later*

Well, we did it. We put our two boys, Storm and Action, out with Jessie. They're getting along surprisingly well for having just met and two of them (Action and Jessie) having been gelded way so late. (If you don't geld a horse by the time he's about 2 or 3, he'll probably have the aggressive "stud" personality for life. Both of these two were done when they were over 10 years old. I have no idea why. At that point, all yer doin' is cuttin' a guys balls off. No reasons left to do so at that age... not at all...)

But, they are all doing good together. Just a few squeals and foot stomps. No kicking, biting or out-and-out fighting, so... good.

We are getting quite a nice lil herd of horses happenin' here... *huge grin*

Okay. Off to the "library" wit' me, then to the store, then it's off to the "Hayrides Hooey" again.

I shall return.
(Well, of course I will. All my shit is here...)

Peace

1 I have found that a lack of sleep usually makes things look a lot worse. Conversely, when I actually GET sleep, I feel a lot better about everything.

I'm glad to read you're feeling better about life in general.

We got a new bird, too. He's the cutest, sweetest lil' cockatiel. There's nothing like a lil' bird lovin'. LOL! I STG, I need to get Darling Hubby out of the pet business! Heh.
