Is it true?

I asked Paul, he being from Canada and all, but I haven't heard back yet, so I ask you guys...

I read on IMDB last night that Bret Hart is divorced. Supposedly hapened a few years back, '98, '99, somewhere in there.

Is he really single?

I hope so, cause I need something to pick me up. I am at the "hack and cry" stage with this "non-Gerber-givin'-back" pile of cow shit.

It's fuckin' breaking my heart that I can't find this stupid thing and the only person I keep thinking about about not having it anymore is Darrel Buschkoetter. You know... the FARMER from "The Farmer's Wife", the one I identified so strongly with...
I feel like that's what I've lost, really. My connection to him PLUS the damned multi-tool.
I still want 'em BOTH back.

Eric says to go get another one... Right. 'Cause we have the money for that just laying around. I have other ways to get jobs done, other tools I can use. So, it's not that.
And, spending money on a new Gerber just to make me feel better seems kinda stupid.

Ah well. I'm gonna keep looking and I've got "The Farmer's Wife" playing now. Might as well just face it. I feel like a fake and a failure now, but... if I can get through this NOW, I'll always be able to and thus, not have to "lose" Darrel too. I kinda hafta do this. It occured to me when I was out there digging a bit ago that "It's gonna kill me to see Darrel with his Gerber on his hip now... damn." Those shots of that always used to make me feel whole, somehow. Like I had something cool in common with an equally cool guy.

Now, I'm just some toolless nerd with cow shit on my boots.

*siiigh*

God, I want my Gerber back.
Truly.

I'm having trouble visualizing this uber gadget of yours.

3 Dudette;

Canada may have fewer people than the US, but that doesn't mean that each of knows everybody else in the damn country!

Having said that, I'll go ask his aunt's sister's dog's cousin's brother-in-law. I go drinkin' with him every Friday night.

Paul
