That's the sound of me walking up to the pooter, dragging my feet while wearing my cleated Harley boots.
Well, it would be, anyway, if'n I warn't sittin' here nekkid, about to get a shower and if this particular floor wasn't carpeted.The house... *slighty dramatic pause*... is done.
My ass... *slightly comatose pause* ... is drag-ging. I'm just sitting here for a few minutes, relishing the look, smell and feel of this well-cleaned house. It was actually kinda easy this time. It wouldn't have taken so long if I hadn't screwed around last night. But, it's done, anyway, so peese on it.
Oh, by the way, if, in about 4 or 5 days, I disappear for a few, I'll not have gone anywhere, but, believe it or not, I forgot to send the Earthlink payment in aaaagain, so it may get there "late" and they may shut me down, til I call and wear 'em down again, like the last 473 times. I just wanted to mention it now, before I forget this, too. Oh, and I even remembered to get the check for Bill for hay outta Eric's shirt pocket before I threw it in the washer. (The shirt, not the check... lol) (It's in the jar, Eric, if ya wanna give it to him...) Anything else? Probably, but I'm so tired I don't know for sure. Well, if it turns out there IS anything else, I'll be back.Well, I'll be back anyway, some time, but sooner if I do remember anything.... ever.

The "agri-tainment" out front. Every year, this farm does a corn maze, a haunted hay maze, hay rides, pumpkin pickin', concessions, a DJ (who needs to be SHOT for playing that ever-stoopid "Electric-fuckin' Slide" more than ONCE a season)... shit like that.
However, somebody musta lit something somewhere 'cause four Jersey people didn't come because one had to work, two of the others were related to that one and the fourth is married to her, soooo they'll all be here next weekend, allegedly.
So far, right now, there are only... *counts on fingers*... 5 people here... *whew* Me, Eric, George and the two boys, Jr. and Tiger.
Still waitin' to hear back from Rob. I think he and his daughter and three of her friends are coming still... I dunno.
One thing I do know is I gotsta go get ready to drag a wagonload of people thru the woods with one of the big metal "horses"... heh. Now, I'm just hoping it keeps "not raining yet" til that's done. (Of course, I've screwed myself on that deal already... I washed my hair before I went to sleep for a while earlier, so of course it's gonna rain on it.... lol.)
