I just realized what today's date is.

*deep breath*

This is a link to a video montage called "America Attacked 9 1 1". It's a HUGE file and it takes a while to load, but it's well worth the wait and while it's loading, I suggest you use the time to make sure you have a fistful of tissues, a fresh pack of smokes and a cup of coffee. Or whatever you need to be able to watch this, probably, again. Yeah, it's been around since February 2002 and I've linked it before myself, so it may not be the first time you've seen it.

But, it'll sure as hell feel like it is.

2 Yeah, it always feels like it's the first time evcerytime I watch that again. I'vce seen seeral different tributes and this is by far the best. The photos, the portraits, the audio clips, it's all there. And that Enya song really underscores the piece's sadness and beauty.

4 I don't have the patience to download it right now - I'm on a dial-up - but if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's one of the best I've seen.

Spork: I'm with ya - I always get a rude awakening everytime I watch something like this and I hope to God that it NEVER becomes 'routine'.

This is one event in history that I'm never forgetting, nor will I ever allow anyone around me to forget it either.

Here's hoping that Patriot Day doesn't turn into another 'Big Sale!!' holiday like the others....
