Snopes is fulla shit...

This time they are WRONG.

In fact, this is so completely stupid, I am forced to wonder if it's some kinda left over April Fool's shit.

A zebra MY ASS.

I don't even wanna discuss this, it's so ridiculous. And, that "click on this" to change the photos thing is really... pathetic.

If anybody actually believes this one, all I can say is: If ya have any of your 'scrip left over, can ya send 'em to me? It must be some KILLER shit yer on.

1 Stevie, they're messing with us. Read this paragraph from the site:
---
The difficulty in resolving closely integrated black and white images on non-color television receivers was one of the primary reasons NFL games were not regularly televised until the mid-1960s, when sales of color TV sets started to outstrip those of black-and-white models. When black-and-white television predominated in the nation's living rooms, football games were too often disrupted when players ran into the referees, whose black-and-white striped uniform tops made them nearly invisible to onlookers. Likewise, Johnny Cash's famous televised live concert performance at California's Folsom Prison in January 1968 proved disastrous when several inmates wearing the traditional black and white prisoner's garb slipped unnoticed past guards, who had been provided only black and white monitors with which to view the proceedings.

They're saying NFL players ran into the referees because they couldn't see them!!! They're just pulling our legs...

2 LMAO! That's about the dumbest thing i've ever heard! OMG! The funniest thing though, is somebody out there is gonna believe that! DAMN! It's too early in the morning to be forcing my facial muscles into the smile or laugh mode!

3 Down at the bottom is a link that says "more informatioon about this page." It goes to another page that explains everything in this particular section, is a spoof. It's supposed to illustrate how certain urban legends become "legitimized" when an "authority" such as Snopes makes it sound factual.
So no, it ain't real and Snopes knows it.

4 I thought it was legit too then I started really looking at the photos of the zebra vs. Mr. Ed.....zebras have 'bigger' ears or they're shaped differently. Additionally, the chest area on Mr. Ed was that of a horse.

I know, I know.....it's a fake. You can zip it now Mikey....

5 Oooohhh... lol. Cool. I've seen that "more info" thing and never clicked on it for any article... guess I oughta, huh?

Still, it's also kinda cool to call "BULLPOOP!" and be right... lmao.

I feel like such a Palimino, er... I mean 'blonde'.

6 And that whole deal about the NFL and prisoner/escapees just had my jaw on the floor cause it was so... improbable, impossible... so goofy... lol.

But, when they kept seeming to insist that Ed was a Zebra... that was so dumb, it made me mad.

Telecommunication/(emergency)radio dispatch, waitressing and animals, specifically horses, are three things I'm really rather good at without ever having taken Lesson One. Of the three, horses are my specialty and for anyone to call that gorgeous animal a Zebra....

I'm just glad I did the post, if for no other reason that to find out that it IS a spoof.

Thank Gawd...

And how did the zebra get an identical white face to Mr. Ed? Probably some good old Hollywood
zebra whitewash. Actually, I've heard that they
disguised a rather large hampster, because his diction was much better that the horse's....

8 Yep, once they started talking about the black and white stripes and the football players running into referees it was obvious. I figured it was an April Fools Day post that had been updated in June. (I didn't click on the "more information" button.)
