Okay, Jack, you got it...
Just got an email from my buddy, Jack. I know it's probably one of those "chain emails" but, this time, since it's from Jack AND since it is wicked-cool, I'm posting it in it's entirety...
Pass it on, please. This is eerie...and something to think about since America is typically represented by an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages. The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible)...
Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace. (Note the verse number!!!!!) I wish everyone of voting age could read this. Send to as many as you can!! Pray For And Be Proud Of Our Troops God Bless America

Pray indeed, I do so daily, sometimes hourly. One of the battallions I served with, before most of the kids in it were born, is up around Fallujah. Another, as near as I can fiure the unit reorganisations, is the one my Dad served in.
The eagle still stands atop the globe.

*giggling at 'booo, hissss'*
Hugs on ya, though, Daniel for keeping it real.
(I have yet to think of checking Snopes for anything like this. I just read Snopes when I get bored...)

Don't you wish you were the one who came up with that? I think it'd be cool to cook up some internet-age urban legend. Maybe if we put our heads together we could come up with something; Me, you, and Madfish. If it got really big we could never prove that it was us that came up with it but we would always know the truth . . . Okay, I'm drawing a blank here.
