1 What a fucking moron. My dad used to have the same problem w/squirrels and his bird feed. He doesn't LOVE animals, but he can't shoot 'em either. (He went hunting w/his dad once when he was little and shot a squirrel...and when he saw it was dead, he cried and cried and refused to do it again.) His solution to the squirrel eating bird feed problem was to install a light metal disk about the size of a frisbee about halfway up the birdfeed pole. If the squirrels jumped on it from the deck, it wouldn't hold their weight and it would tip and drop them (safely) on the ground below. If they tried to climb the pole, they couldn't get around the disk. We haven't had a squirrel problem since.

Myself, I'd feed the squirrels. Hell, I do give every one of them who lets me peanut butter bread. They LOVE that shit and it's fun to watch 'em do that thing with their cute lil faces when they get into the peanut butter... lol.

I don't for the life of me know why people wanna segregate animals so much.

Would y'all pick and choose which KIDS to feed? I doubt it. Animals are no different... just better.
