It's getting close to that time again....
I swear to God, trying to find decent pictures of these people is HARD.
And, everybody else who does this synopsis stuff uses the same tired one.
Screw that. Here's my take on it... Let's run through the cast real quick. First is Shonna. She is, hands down, no doubt and definately my favorite of the sisters. She's the Sr. Emblamer and a really cool female. Plus, she's got great hair. Wait til you see it down. Melissa is the oldest sister. She's okay, but whenever anybody says anything she doesn't want to hear, her big response is to say "I don't know what you're talking about." It'd take her saying that to me just once, when I knew she perfectly well did too know and that'd be the end of that. Emily is a type AAA little spaz. First memory of her is her jumping in her Dad's shit over absoulutely NOTHING and flinging pizza across the room. She then ordered Melissa to go clean it up, to which she naturally replied (say it with me) "I don't know what you're talking about." (Admittedly, that time, I wouldn't have either.) There's just something about Emily that makes me wanna smack her sometimes. Chuck is my second favorite person on the whole show, period. (Shonna's first.) I love Chuck. He's freakin' gorgeous. Kinda like Brando when he was younger. That fact that he's a 'bully' (as Shonna says) just makes me like him more, cause I can just tell, he'd be easy to stand down. Shame "Mom" doesn't know that, huh Shonna?
Also, Johnny Weismuller, the original Tarzan is this guys Uncle, I believe it is. Rick is the brother to the three girls. He's cute, too. I haven't been able to see all the episodes of this thanks to stupid wrestling, so I don't have a real good take on Rick, David or John. Here's an idea... watch the show and see for yourselves. I'm gonna.
In tonights episode, Mom comes to help out in the office. Poor little woman, I don't think she lasted the whole day. When Chuck drops in, he finds out she's working and tries to be nice, but... poor booger can't give a compliment worth a damn and Mom's no better at receiving them. She also ducks a kiss on the cheek from him and glances right into the camera. Hope she's not like that toward him when the cameras are off. He was just trying to be nice. Jeez. In the meantime, there's a Mormon burial prep happening. Eric is Mormon, so it was doubly interesting to me to see what they do. What these ladies did with their Mom's body is the same thing, sans lipstick of course, that Eric did with his Dad. It's rather sweet. I couldn't help tearing up with those sisters, even though I have no idea what they're talking about about having had a 'great Mom". It still touches you. During the final prep of this lady, Shonna focuses on her relationship with her own Mom. At the very end, she's hugging her Mom and telling her she loves her and I can almost hear the real end of Shonna's sentence... something about being able to express it more if she wasn't always caught in the middle between Mom and Chuck and how it's not THAT hard to put Chuck in his place.... I get the feeling he may be the kinda man you'd have to do that to a few times before it 'took', but he'll get it and then it's great. Also, Chuck, Honey? You need to groom that cat of yours. I'm not sure which were hairier looking... Mom's version of Swedish meatballs or that poor cat.
Now, I love Swedish Meatballs but I must be spoiled on Stouffer's or something, cause Mom's looked nothing them and they scared me.... My last two lines of notes about this episode say that "Mom says the same thing about Chuck that I do George, but I think I mean it more." and that Emily really needs to climb outta Dad's ass.

The second episode is a previous one that I missed (thanks, stupid friggin' wrestling that doesn't even have Bret anymore so what's the goddamned point anyway...), so we can all watch it for the first time at the same time, okay? There'll be a test afterward.... Only kidding. Tonight, 9 & 9:30 on A&E. You won't be sorry.
