My favorite Munuvians....
Okay.
What I decided to do here is just link the ones I know... for now, anyway.
I mean, fer Pete's sake... there are so damned many of us now. It's cool as hell, but hard to keep up with, kinda.
Very much like how hard it became to keep track of all the people coming into the 'Boulder Free Zone' in The Stand. (Yes, I am reading that again. Why?)
First up, of course, is our Fearless, Peerless (as in superior, not friendless, just to be clear) Leader, Pixy Misa. He's the one who makes everything everybody does here possible. Not only did he give each of us an excellent new home here at Munuviana, he also keeps things running better than any other 'host' I've heard of. He's intelligent as all get out with this computer stuff and he's always there, whenever anybody has an 'issue' or question. Pixy is pretty freakin' awesome. He's also a sweet, funny guy and he's into anime... did I spell that right? If you like what you see at the Munu sites you visit, go give Pixy a read and let him know in a comment. Hell, if ya understand computer-speak, ya might even learn a little somethin'.
Next up is TuningSpork. Frankly, I started reading him because of that name. It still makes me giggle when I see it. (Like now...) Then, as I got to reading him, I found that I also like him, himself. He usually makes me either laugh outloud at shit or think every time I read him. He also leaves really cool comments. And, posts lyrics sometimes to really great songs. Another thing- and this is gonna sound really weird- I used to know a Special Officer (what they called our rent-a-cops at one of the PD's I worked for) whose name was the same as TuningSporks middle and last names. So, basically, every time I get a comment, thus an email, from him, I picture a cute little, slightly rotund, part time cop in Joisey who had a cute little face with a cute little cop 'stache. ("Once there was a fellow and his name was Buzz. He was just a rookie cop, just a baby fuzz...") I know that this isn't what Spork looks like, but still... it always makes me smile. Next, we have Helen. I almost don't even know what to say about this lady. She is simply amazing. She doesn't know it very much herself, but she is one of the bravest, strongest, most intelligent, excellent women I've ever even heard of. She goes through some of the most breath-taking, scary shit and has survived it all with such grace and dignity... Jesus. No matter what life throws at her, she not only catches it, she runs with it and suceeds brilliantly. I'm in awe of this woman. Just go see for yourself. You won't be able to keep yourself from loving her, either. You'll see. Okay... how to explain this guy? Hmmmm... lol. There is sooo much content at his place... there's the COTBG, the Champagne Room, the biggest collection of 'groaner' jokes on the planet... it's endless. You just have to go see for yourself. Not only does his blog kick ass, he's also pretty cool himself. Next up is Emma. I've been reading her since my beginning with blogs. I've always liked her and she is where I got my POW image for my sidebar. When I talked about Emma in that earlier post, I wanted so badly to link to a post she did, but I made me save it for here. It's about Memorial Day, but it's more an excellent example of who she is, not to mention how well she writes. I had tears brimming by the time I got done reading this. I just love this woman. Plus, she's got the cutest kitten... a gift from her husband. (Gotta love a guy who gives cats as gifts....) Next is Susie. She was one of my first commenters ever. She was also the first person I ever cared to learn linking for so I could send her cat stuff I found on here. She's a fellow cat-lovin' coffee drinker. Works at a movie theater, too. Talk about conquering potential disasters... gah. She works with loads of teenagers and is good at it, let alone still sane... so far. I couldn't do it. I love her sense of humor, too. Susie rocks. Next is Tiger. I've been reading Tig for a long time, too. He was my first... lawyer I blogrolled, ya pervs...lol. His blog features nightly Navel Gazing reports and very often, jokes that make ya giggle and wonder at the same time. Right now, his top post makes me feel all kindsa better, seeing as how I'm not the only one who thought Reagan died a coupla years ago... oops. (I saw that headline "Reagan's health takes a turn for the worse" and said outloud "How can a dead guy get sicker?" My bad.) Ah, Ted. Ted is one of my 'forever people', too. As in, he's been here for as long as I have. I first found him with my (pathetic) Xanga version of Xfire. He's who got me in here at Munviana. I love Ted to death and I still HAVE THAT HAT!!!!! In one of the multudinous computer malfunctions I suffered before God gave me Paul, I losted Ted's address to send the hat to, damn it. I remember the name of the city, cause it's Eric's Dad's name, but.... sigh. Ted's into rocketry, cooking and relating awful jokes. You know, the kind that make ya just slither outta the chair in disbelief? Yeah. Those kind. I love 'em... and him. This is Jim. Jim, I've known since my Blogspot days. He tried to help me master that linking shit, to no avail. I know now what I was doing wrong and all I can say is "I am such a 'tard..." He never gave up though. Jim is excellent. Proof of this is the fact that I 'ran into' him in some chicks comments the other day who had gotten fired or some damned thing and he, like me and very few others, was trying to be supprtive of this girl. (Her name was Scooter and I lost her in the last bookmark erasing crash I had...) Jim also has kids and tells the cutest stories about them. He also was, and may still be, involved in gathering stories of school-policy stupidities. I like that. He also used to have this cow picture on his sidebar, that I swear looked just like the cow they've got out in front of Cowtown Rodeo and Flea Market back in Joisey. I ain't gonna get into what was being done to that huge-assed plaster cow, but still... Jim is cool. This is my 'other' Eric. I 'did' him (*snerk*) when I did the big original linkfest, but I just love 'im soooo much for all those SRV songs, that I wanted to link him again. Just cause he's so damned sweet. And cute. (And beet red, right now, right, Hon?) *hugs* This is LeeAnn. One of my first memories of LeeAnn is so bizarre, yet cool... Me and George were getting groceries one night. I'd already gotten Eric's bananas and said I needed to grab his smoked Swiss cheese. George said something about all this stuff I was getting for 'Monkeyboy' as he called him, due to the bananas (the cheese and bananas were about the 24th and 25th things I'd put in the cart for him..), that prompted me to reply, "Hey, Monkeyboy loves his cheese, man..." Then, I come home, get on here and see, for the first time ever, LeeAnn's URL and nearly fainted. Now, ya just know I hadda 'roll her after that. Since then, she has made me laugh hard enough to hurt myself on a more consistant basis than just about anyone else. LeeAnn (and her Dad) has the one of the most finely tuned senses of humor I've ever seen in a female. (Her, not her Dad, but he does send her some funny emails, too...) Not only that, but she also explained some of the intricacies of blogging and went out of her way to make me feel welcome (and safe) at her place. She's one of those rare "cool chicks". Last, but most certainly NOT least is my computer guru... the one, the only, the adorable, Paul. Yeah, I know. I linked him last time, too and I also link him about 47 times a week anyway, but still... That link was to his Munu blog, which he's still working on. In the meantime, go here. When he's got any time at all, this is where he's posting. For now, anyway. Again, like with my 'other' Eric, I'm just linking Paul again cuz I love him that much. Easily. Well. There ya have it. These are my favorite Munuvians. Like I said, as I find out more about the others, I'll let ya's know. In the meantime... Happy Reading! Peace.Comments
I have to confess, however, that my husband wrote the Memorial Day post -- I just cleaned up some spelling errors. (Heh.)
I'd LOVE to take credit for it but I can't.
Anyway. I love you like fire, too, baby girl. {{{ hugs }}} thank you. You made my whole day!
Love,
"Em"

Thank you for the kind words! My site is a bit on the hard side to classify side but I think you've nailed it.
I don't know how I've missed including you in the Corner of the Bar Babes... must have been a giant brain fart... I used to milk cows by hand before breakfast every morning when I was growing up... any babe that can milk a cow had just GOT to be a COTBB! I'll send you the code for a site logo and put you in the blogroll right away!
Plus... I just love it when a girl says FUCK!
