Okay, Great. Bret just pea-ed on me...

Siiigh.

What is UP with my cats lately?
Yesterday, they tried to kill the keyboard and just a little while ago, Bret pea-ed on me.
And, on the floor.
And my chair.
Even got one in the drawer.

Here's another lil tip for ya's....

Never set a plate with about half a servingspoonful of peas left on it on top of two small brass things behind ya on the counter, til ya get a chance to put it away later.

Bret'll take care of it for you, if you do.

What she'll do is wait til you've kinda forgotten it and are nearly unconscious gettin' yer feets squished, all laid back in your chair, then she'll try to see what's on it and basically THROW it on ya, scaring the SHIT outta ya and, in the process, pea-ing everywhere.

It's reeeeeal fun.

This is, of course, AFTER I dip the ends of my hair in the Cheddar Bacon potato mix before I baked it.

At least the chicken and gizzards haven't given me any trouble... yet.

Now. Anybody wanna guess what I hafta go do?
Again?

I'll be back sooner or later.

Peas.
(Just not on me.)
(Cause I'm here to tell ya, it is in fact better to be pissed off than pea-ed on.)

1 Oh no.. another one. Well, I hope it is resolved without too much of a beating for kitty.

We all await your return.

2 Oh God, noooo.
I don't do that.
I'm usually either too busy doing repairs or laughing my ass off to be beatin' 'em.

Most they get outta me (and that's mostly the dogs) are very long-winded, well-reasoned, completely ignored lectures.
Practice for when I talk to the guys....

3 Yes. I know you don't. I was joking.

Hope you're cleaning duties are going well.

4 Well, another sleepless night for me. My insomnia has hit a new record for me, six days, no sleep. You have to wonder when the body will break down completely and melt into the ground.

Hmmm

Of course you know why I am sleepless... what would be my daughter's birthday is fast approaching and it is a day of dread for me. Has it really been 11 years since she died.... yes, intellectually you know it's been that long, but it remains so fresh this time of year. I would be teaching her how to drive now, hell she used to sit in my lap and steer my stingray, but by now she could have reached the pedals herself.

It makes you wonder how, if ever, nightmares ever really end.

Good Mourning to all...

Truly,

Rei

God help us all.
