On the 14th, as I was cruisin' Rob's archives for a V-day post, it occured to me that his birthday was coming up.
So, when I saw the post I wanted to use for that, I made note of it's location and the pertinent date.
Right in front of my face.
In black.
Where I'd see it. Fat lot of good that did.... Damn it. I would, at this time, like to offer my sincere apologies to Rob, his family, anybody I may have let down or pissed off with my 20 hour oversight.
It will NOT happen again.
(God, I feel like shit...)
However, and for the record, when (not if) I cruise right on by that one day in June over there, rest assured, that's on purpose.
What would I post?Sam's announcement? Please. The only thing, other than the typical random posts, that would be fitting is something like his picture, with both dates under it.
And, just that, at that.
I don't even know that I'd link the original post in that case...
In fact, I rather think I wouldn't. I could see posting his picture (and the dates) and only that and leaving it for 24 hours, then resuming SOP's. If anybody has any alternate suggestions about that one, let me know.

Don't worry about that shit. You are doing a great job with Rob's site. Your posts bring back a lot of memories for me. Keep up the good work and do it when you can, I know you have another life, somewhere.
