Jeezus Christ...

I just posted something Rob wrote... again.
A short post, sort of an end-of-year update.

In it he says that, in two years and two days (plus numerous assorted computer parts), he did roughly 5,600 posts and garnered OVER 23,900 comments.

In three and half years (nearly double his time, at that point), I've done 2,235 posts and gotten 4,306 comments.

So, let's see, thaaaat's... multiply by 27, carry the thirteen, divide by fifths (then bottle it and slap a Jack Daniels label on it) and thaaaat's....

Sad... sad is what that is.

My comments to posts ratio, compared to his, is putrid.

Capital "P".
Capital "U".
Capital "TRID".

Which, after travelling a long and winding road through my brain, WHICH I'll spare ya's, leads me to wanna ask you guys something...

What I want is to be able to see me through your eyes.
I wanna know what you picture when you read me.
(Now, why does that make me picture Mad. Wm. typing BOOBIES!!! in all caps?)
*rolling eyes and giggling*
(S'okay. I always picture him in his robe...)

But seriously...

Who do you see in your mind's eye?
What do you see?
What do I look like?
Am I scary or something?
(Shit man, I don't even get trolls, ya know? WHY NOT, damn it? They're fun to play with...)

I'm told two things by two people I really love and trust and... believe.

One, I talk too much, period, let alone after I've asked a question, usually... which is why I've been trying not to do that s'much lately.

The other is that I so completely sew up, own, or conclude a post, there's just not a lot left to say after.
(Aaaand, I get told in real life, about 32 times a week, that I missed my calling not being a litigator, so I kinda get that. Just don't know how NOT to do it.)

It was also suggested that, maybe, the easiest way to get'ch'all to answer this is to ask for adjectives.

What adjectives would y'all use to describe me to somebody you know who doesn't know me?

Good or bad, I'm askin'.

Mostly I wanna know what I look like in your imagination.
Then, if ya wanna include what kinda person I come across as, g'head.

Paint me a picture, please.

1 OK...here goes. I know I have only been reading you for a short time, but I keep coming back because you have the same problems I do. I like to see how you figure them out to see if I would do it that way or a different way.
Adjectives - neat freak (totally not me...lol)
baker...i would love to bake more
zoo keeper and i think you live on a farm...i grew up that way on my grandparents farm and want to go back to that some day.

2 Physical:
Tall and lanky

Long brown, wavy hair

Green eyes

Long fingers

Don't smile too much, but when you do it is very pretty.

You have a tendency to gaze off when you wander around in your head, which makes people think you are not as smart as you are.

Mental:
Scatterbrained, but intelligent.

Love to read.

You don't sleep well.

You are very loving and tend to worry a lot about others -- more than you do yourself.

Don't get angry very often, but when you do -- WATCH OUT. You try to fight fair, but won't hesitate to pull some nasty punches if you need to (which upsets you, you tend to regret later, and you are trying to work on).

I'll add more later 8-)

3 What I see is a lady with a rare insightful sense of the insane irony in life. One who has the artful ability of commenting on life’s craziness with a sharp wit and a rich and genuine sense of humor… a deep thinker, perhaps lost in thought at times, but someone who loves to think out load and share ideas.
I also see a deeply caring and nurturing person who chooses her friends carefully, keeps a wary eye on the horizon for threats, and who cherishes the peaceful security of a warm home, a quiet refuge, and the contentment of knowing that all of the living creatures under her care are safe.
I see a writer who loves words for their inherent magic; far beyond the sum total of letters, words, and syntax…you really do see the forest and not just the trees.
You’re not afraid to speak your mind ever (something lacking among most of us today).

Also, I see someone carrying a deep sadness, something far off most of the time, but sometimes closer to the surface…and you have a great strength to move past and above that sadness when it comes close.
I see someone who may not realize how special she really is...
You’re a fighter, and like all of us, may make mistakes, but you have the guts to at least take a stand.
Mental picture? I guess two of them: one of you sitting at the computer, coffee cup nearby, rooster on your lap, cat on each shoulder, robe, bunny slippers, typing carefully to translate thought into word…;>) – the other image on horseback (appaloosa) of course with a couple of your dogs nearby, just standing still thinking and looking off towards the mountains (kind of a western movie cliché’, but oh well…) Neither image is scary, by any means…
You seem like the kind of person that would be a joy to sit next to on a long flight (airplane or otherwise), or around a campfire with a close group of friends sharing stories late into the night…
To sum- (in Shaman’s terms) in my mind you have:
the heart of a wolf, the spirit of a hawk, the insight (and sleep habits) of an owl, and the intuitiveness of a panther.

4 Aww hell, that's easy.

Resilient. Life may knock you on your ass sometimes, but you always come up swinging
