On this day, I always think of my grandfather and his crew who lost their lives in a B-17 over Germany on a cold October afternoon in 1943 fighting for the freedom we all share...let's hope that we citizens never ever forget the sacrific all soldiers, sailers, marines and air crews....men and women... made and continue to make to preserve Freedom and Democracy....They all deserve a place of honor in the hearts and minds of every American...
