1 Still one of the best damn songs ever written and And one of the many sad mysteries of seafaring...the crew will be forever remembered through this song... an old Welsh belief was that at All-Hallows Eve all those who had been drowned in the sea come up to ride over the waves on white horses, and hold remarkable revels. Let's hope that they had one hell of a good time on those beautiful horses... and may they rest peacefully...
