I'm actually doin' it, finally...
I've got both versions of "The Stand" synched and I'm cleaning the freakin' house.
Dishes are done. Now, on to the MOUNTAIN of laundry and the general "clutter" and crap.(Literally. Gotta re-do the kitty-potties, too...) And, I was thinkin' about something....
(And, shaddap youse people saying "Uh-oh" right now... *grin*) I get told a LOT that I clean more than 99% of the population.
Probably true.
WHEN I do it.... But, I figured out why. It's because of the cats, mostly, I think. If I wanna have alla these cats around, the LEAST I can do is make sure they don't overrun the house with the messes they make, knocking shit offa things and ... well, SHIT.
Ya know? I'm not gonna have 'em all then expect everybody else to clean up after 'em and take care of 'em for me.
(Especially not after I got back from Georgia and saw firsthand what a man's version of "taking care of them" means... *wry grin*) They're MY deal.
They're mine to keep to a minimum. Besides, I like it too, when I can keep a step or two ahead of alla them AND alla these men-folk and keep the house lookin' good. Though, I hafta admit... sometimes outrunning Secretariat would be easier.

Well I got 8 cats (all under the age of two) and you talk about a wrecking crew....I had to remove everything (of value) off my fireplace mantel last week, as a moth got in the house and all 8 of them were bound and determined to take down that bug (sparing NONE of my Hummels and fine china in the process)
My son Eric said to me (last nite) "Didnt we used to have a lot more stuff on the mantel?" LOL
And I dont even want to discuss the conditions of my window screens......(as the cats seem to think they are there for some kind of a rock climbing practice)
And litterboxes? We have 4 and I am thinking of adding a 5th.....Litterbox duty is a full time job around here.....
But come about January, 8 cats and an electric blanket are hard to beat as far as warding off the winter chill.....

I have "The Stand" on VHS and DVD and what I do is run one version on the TV in the living room and the other one on the TV in the kitchen.
That way I can clean where ever cleaning takes me without missing anything.
Getting them to run "in synch" is... "fun".
I can do it though.
It's actually kinda cool because it inevitably sounds like a drive-in, with the nano-second "echo" effect.
(Yes, I do have a vague idea of how weird I am, thanks... *grin*)
