Alright, damn it....
I suddenly remembered where the stupid preferences are and so far, I've set Yahoo as my homepage about 37 times, but the fucker won't "remember" it.
I click okay after I set it, it (the window) disappears then I click on "home" and...
nuttin'.
It just sits there.
SO, I go back into the preferences and TAH-fuckin'-DAH, it's blank again.
Anyone?

Stevie, it could be a glitch after the upgrade. I don't have a copy of the suite here at work, but try using Moz to go to your Yahoo! home page, then open up the preferences, and click the button that says Use Current Page, instead of just trying to type the address in. Then hit the OK button after that.

Hell, I even went to Mozilla.org and got on some page by putting "about
rg" in the browser search bar and tried changing it that way, too.
Nada.
For now, til you here, I just added Yahoo to my personal toolbar and that works. Ain't gonna do squat for Eric or George, but it works for me... *giggle*

So when you enter about:config in the address bar, and double-click on the browser.startup.homepage string, then type in the Yahoo address, it doesn't remember it?
If that's the case, it sounds like the upgrade may have created 2 config files. I can't do much more from work, but I'll check in with ya when I get home.

I promise not to punch anything (except maybe my ignorant goddamned killer dogs who murdered three baby opossums, those prick bastards) til then.
And, I forgot to mention before that some of the preference shit works. Like the "scroll smoothly" thing and the making the icons words only.
I did those two things and that took.
So far, just keeping the homepage and remembering my password for mail are the only two glitches I'm aware of.
