And... we're back.

Munu has been getting slammed with DoS attacks lately.
Our Fearless Leader has been snatching the bullets out of the air for the last coupla days with one hand and trying to get us back online with the other.

Looks like he won.
Again.
All hail Pixy...
*bows*

I actually do have a few other things to tell ya's about... the job, the current situation, a coupla news articles that hurt my brain, shit like that... BUT...
ah, the inevitable "but"... since the last post here is about a certain subject and I have one more thing to throw out there about said subject, I'm gonna do it now.

SO... if yer sick to puking over this whole deal, skip this part and give me a bit and I'll be on to other things.
(And, I'm not obssessing over this. It's just that a dear friend of mine, a person who has met Rob, in fact, asked me what the hell happened and, as I was re-tracing the evolution of this thing, something occured to me. Probably already occured to everybody else, except Livey, but, still... )

With alla the other shit Rob has to deal with on a daily basis, might not Livey and her endless yammering attempts to "save" Rob and her insistance that she "loves" him been the catalyst for Rob's slip?

My heart and gut believes it was.

*minute or so later*
Oh, yikes... another thing just occured to me...
What if she WAS the reason and KNEW it and DID it on purpose to try to prove to him that he DOES "need" her?

It's not often, thank GOD, that I can "see" this kinda thing, but I do know that there are women who not only think that way, but ACT on it on a daily basis.
Hence, the bitches who get pregnant SOLELY to trap guys and have that "18 year paycheck", among other rotten, shitty things.

Man.

Evil genius does exist. She wouldn't be the first.
Look at Charles Manson.
That guy's not as "fried" as he wants people to think he is.
Not by a long shot. (Now I'm wondering if she even is...)
And, if ya want better proof of the existence of evil genius, just take a look at a "typical" BC.
It exists.

I'm more "sure" of my first hypothesis up there, but that last part explains a lot, doesn't it? Like her absolute and utter refusal to see how wrong what she did was.

Either that last part is right, or she's dumber than a bag of broken hammers.

Anyway...

I've got some shit I hafta go do, then I'll be back.
Looks like it's gonna rain again, I'm off, the house needs to be straightened up and I'm all but on "E" with gas in my car, so, barring a power outage, I will be back later today.

Meanwhile, y'all take care.

Peace

1 Rob slipped because he is a drunk, plain and simple. He will always be a drunk, and his constant battle with alchol will never be over. It really doesn't make any difference if he slipped, its getting back on the wagon that is important. Rob is not the first person who has had their life destroyed by alchol and won't be the last. I like reading Rob but I also wonder how many of his current problems were caused by alchol. Rob is a good guy but if you have been reading him as long as I have you can tell which Rob is posting.

2 Don't be so sure James. His health problems are no doubt due to alcohol but I have a lot of experience with alcoholics and there is a stage in drying out called the dry drunks, it's not so easy to tell the difference between that and a real slip.. But being "punished" or wrongly accused of slipping when one hasn't, could contribute to a real slip.

Not saying it did, just that it could. Stevie asks a valid question. Not sure anyone can answer it but Rob.

3 Agreed and agreed (and agreed and agreed, etc.).

However, none of that in any way excuses her behavior.

I'm absolutely certain that if I were to call my local AA chapter and tell them about this, or even present it as a hypothetical situation, their advice would be the same either way and that it would be to keep people who want to do what she did to him as far away from him as possible.

And... since I have all day (truly, I do, I'm off today and the house ain't that bad) and I was asked to, I've been compiling links to the posts about this.
And, as I do this, I'm seeing things clearer than ever before and... it's almost fuckin' scary, how calculated it seems to be.
I can literally see it coming in what was written and referenced.

I'm considering, as I see these things, doing one more post with the same links I'll be emailing to Rob's friend, but, if I do, the links are gonna be in the EP, not because of anything bad, really, but mostly because there are quite a few of them and if it wasn't for how prophetic they seem to be, I wouldn't bother posting about it yet again.

But, it's just kinda interesting, like watching a NASCAR wreck in slomo.

4 Golly, I wonder who could be behind these DoS attacks. Hmmm.....let me see, now....

5 I have no idea even what DoS attacks actually are.
I know the letters stand for Denial of Service, but, what the hell that means, I dunno.

I think of it as massive spam attacks or something.

And, in no way am I egotistical enough to think that out of alllll the blogs on Munu this shit is happening "for" me.

Ain't the first time it's happened, nor the spam attacks if that is a seperate thing.
Shit happens, gets handled, and life goes on.

So, if it is happening "for my benefit" or to "intimidate" me, better luck next time, whomever you are.

(And, just by the way, if it is her smart enough to know how to pull that off, then I think that lends credence to my "knew it and did it anyway" theory... evil genius and all.)
(On the other hand, how fuckin' stupid would she really hafta be to do that when my top post is about what a wingnut she is? You'd think she'd want that one to get written away, off the front page... well, whatever.)
