I found out from the Boss that the location of the fire was about 6 miles away.
Just wow...
("Borrowed" from the local paper's online edition and it was 360 firefighters, not 500...)

Glad to hear it was just buildings and not inhabitants involved. (Was gonna say "not people", but realised that of course those 350 firefighters were certainly involved & at risk.
