This mothafuckin' stupid assbitin' computer....I swear. I'm working on a post...an important one...it's my attempt to exorcise the demon responsible for the latest mind-fuck I'm being put through. I saved it to draft, half through, to check a date, went back, finished it, changed it from draft to publish, clicked save and watched while it went to hell. Thanks a load.
So, this is just to see if this shits gonna publish or give me that lame-assed 'Cannot find page' maggot-infested bullSHIT again or what.

2 I'm not too familiar with MT but couldn't you just write your posts in something like Word, or another machine based program, and then cut and paste the finished post to your MT entry form? That way if it takes a shit on you, you still have the post.

Just an idea.

3 Yeah, I"m a big fan of that. I usually do my composition of posts of any substance (well... not that my posts generally HAVE any substance) in emacs or Tinderbox and just post them when they're done.

'Cause Radio is even assier than MT.

4 I've heard of doing that, but, hell guys...I only just started using 'draft'. Thank God I did this time, too.
I am so completely inept with this thing, I don't even know where to find those other writng places.
I do know it's just a matter of c&p-ing once it's written, buuuut...
Guess I'll hafta get Paul to show me this, too...hopefully BEFORE I stroke out...lol.

5 Open up Microsft Word or Word Perfect or another word processing program--type up your post then save it--move your cursor to File--select all--press ctrl and C at the same time on your keyboard--open up the MT control panel or where ever you type your posts--place your cursor in the entry field and click--press ctrl and V at the same time. The post will appear--then post it.

If something takes a dump and you lose it, open up the original post in whatever word processor you used to type it and repeat the above.
