Was this Really Necessary?
An op-ed in the Wall Street Journal discusses the results of a poll of 4,835 adults that shows that the more liberal/progressive your politics are, the less you are able to square your belief system with a basic grasp of economic principals.
Doesn't watching our 535 Senators and Congresspeople on Capitol Hill, plus the cluelessness of the executive branch, prove the exact same thing with theri all-too-real impact on our actual economy? Daniel Klein writes about a poll that provides evidence for an academic theory. Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are proving that theory with deadly efficiency.

I like it for two reasons:
1) tax dollars didn't pay for it
2) it's not a bad idea to check if stuff that seems reasonable actually carries out in reality.
