According to the Smoking Gun, these racist idjits were too afraid to try to rob a house with a dog in the yard, and yet they talked of walking into a predominately black school to shoot it up before decapitating people? Somehow, I suspect they wouldn't be able to get through the school's front door without slipping and falling in fear-induced torrents of their own urine, and I doubt they could debone a chicken, much less stomach decapitating someone. Let's throw the book at these fools, and keep them in jail a very long time. Hot Air has more.

I live in East Tennessee and I've heard several times that Obama will never make it past a couple months in office. Many here seem to believe that he will be assassinated if he gets elected. It really suprised me when I heard it from a high school kid at the grocery the other day. Then I heard it again today in an insurance office. I've heard it other places too. That crap is NOT what I want to hear. I have no use for Obama of any of his type, but we are America and the VOTE is what works around here. These idiot "skinheads" were probably so tanked up on drugs they thought they were "10 feet tall and bulletproof"....sounds like a real drug dream thing to me. I hope it is anyway.

It is painfully clear that there are still plenty of old-school racists out there that we need to distance ourselves from. We need to be vigilant advocates of our beliefs, but careful not to fan the flames of intolerance.

It doesn't necessarily have to involve any elaborate staging, these people are probably just what they appear to be. But I don't think it would be such a stretch that some Obama supporter who happened to know them might covertly goad them into doing something like this, just so they could say, "See? We told you McCain was stirring up hate."

CY, your comment triggered a thought: a large number of commenters at the conservative blogs I read are condemning the "plot to kill Obama" and then in the next sentence snickering cruelly at the prospect of these dirtbags becoming victims of violent abuse in prison.
Does no one else see a slight inconsistency here? Why should we care any more -- or any less -- about protecting the Snob from violence he stirred up than about protecting these (or any other) punks from violence that they stirred up?

Oh, and lest anyone repeat Nathan's misunderstanding: I am not advocating anything except consistency in one's attitudes. Punish people for breaking the law, as specified by the law. All people. All should be equal before the law, regardless of their background. But nothing further. Even scum like race-supremacists don't deserve the kind of jailhouse abuse you're so casually wishing on them.

If I may posit, I believe the reason "a large number of commenters ..." believe the Justice System as it is does not actually punish criminals for their crimes. Therefore, they (I include myself) see 'jailhouse violence' as the punishment the System fails to deliver.
Thus, they don't have a problem 'not condeming it'.
