The Class of Kos
The sewer elves of the Daily Kos—the same "progressives" that wanted to "out" Chief Justice John Roberts' four-year-old son Jack—are back in the slime, trying to claim that new Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin's son Trig isn't hers.
They're trying to claim Palin's eldest daughter is actually the mother of Palin's youngest child. They just can't seem to accept that people unlike themselves might actually chose to bring a Down's child into this world, instead of terminating it as an inconvenience... or as Obama might call it, a punishment.

This isn't surprising coming from the crowd that touts, as one of the reasons for supporting abortion, "Well, when their body is ravaged by nine months of pregnancy, they can have a choice." 'Cause pregnancy is, you know, like a disease that ravages your body. They think she should have looked fat, pale and sickly.
In any case, there's a breathtaking amount of ignorance floating around on that one Kos diary.

My wife is 7 months pregnant. I don't see how that description is, in any way, inaccurate.

as a formerly pregnant woman, I do hope you're joking.

are you advocating CHOICE?? Way to go. Great for her - and all who can and do make the choice she did. Now leave me alone so I can choose what I want. Why is that SOOO hard to understand.
Republicans love to be "anti-government" - except when it comes to religion and becoming rich - then all the intevention the better! Hypocrites to a nauseating degree.

Real choice means choice for all, including our children. You don't have choices if you've been killed in the womb.
Legal abortion is the death of choice.

abortion is a tragic choice indeed. However, I disagree with you, obviously. I dont think a 6 week embryo is a child - sorry. However, a 6-month one can be. And there lies the dilemna for me, personally - how I reconcile them is personal, how the government does is intrusive - no matter how its done. Tough issue. What I do know is that I don't want a politician beholden to religion I don't follow making that legislation on my behalf. Hence I vote against Republicans, almost always.
