Welcome to Friday

Well there's been lots of crap in the news this week. There's been lots of religious persecution, advancement of communism at the expense of freedom, and degradation of all that is good. And there's been some good news, too. But today's Friday, and I'm taking a news break.

I meant to post pictures all week about the Carolina Renaissance Festival. I got busy and forgot. So throughout the day today, I'll just be posting pictures and other lighter fare. Forget the news for a day -- I guarantee that when you check back again, you'll find you really didn't miss anything. So check back later here today, and there will be more fun and excitement!

1 Good Morning and TGIF to you Mr. Ogre!!! I'm going in work to start clearing things out of my desk and get ready to trascend to the new job next Wednesday. Kinda sad, given that I will miss my team mates. They are very good people.
Sigh.... bring on the Ren Fest pics!

2 Sometimes you just have to relax and ignore the bad news. Ignorance truly is bliss...at least for awhile.

6 It's a bit chilly here -- highs are supposed to be in the low 60s at best. Oh, but completely sunny with a Carolina Blue sky all day -- all day for the next week, at least.

7 Here it's 44 degrees but feels like 40 degrees.
I have on a long sleeve T, a hoody, and wore a jacket in! It is sunny though, but I would love to have 60 degrees right now. :-)

8 44? That's not fit for humans!

Nah, I grew up part of my life in upstate New York. I'm good with cold. In fact, I do miss snow living down here in the south.
