Redress of Grievences?
If someone handed you a paper with the following printed on it, what would you think?
IS IT RIGHT TO WORK FOR THE "INTERNAL ROBBERY SQUADRON?" I have the right to remain silent. IRS agents have the right to quit their jobs. If that is not possible, they have a responsibility to work as inefficiently as possible when taking our money, and as quickly as possible when returning it. I'm here to respectfully ensure they know that I do not appreciate what they are doing and to make them feel uncomfortable...morally, not physically. IRS taxes fund torture, waste and unconstitutional Federal mandates like the privacy-killing "Real ID." Do you feel threatened or endangered? Apparently, you should be terrified. You see, those words, combined with a piece of paper, will get you throw in jail. Seriously. You see, Dave Ridley did that. He printed up a few papers with those words on them and handed them out at a local IRS office. He was quiet, peaceful, and absolutely did not interfere with anyone. In fact, when he was asked to leave, he DID. And for that, the government threw him in jail for 4 days. Seriously. Apparently he was charged with "distributing handbills." Wow. Each day I'm more amazed at the massive power of the federal government. You actually GO TO JAIL for asking an IRS agent if they should work for the government. Not for trespassing, not for interfering with government, not for non-cooperation with government officials, but for asking a question of government. I'm beyond words. Folks, in case you have any delusions about freedom, see this example: A man has been arrested and jailed for FOUR DAYS for distribution of handbills! I think I'm going to mail a copy of the handbill to the IRS office in Keene right now from right here in North Carolina.

Apparently the "crime" was distributing handbills. I found the law and have asked my Congressman to get rid of the law. We'll see what he says.
Oh, and Raven? Two more were arrested there today.

Here's the law that was broken:
§102-74.415—What is the policy for posting and distributing materials?
All persons entering in or on Federal property are prohibited from—
(a) Distributing free samples of tobacco products in or around Federal buildings, as mandated by Section 636 of Public Law 104-52;
(b) Posting or affixing materials, such as pamphlets, handbills, or flyers, on bulletin boards or elsewhere on GSA-controlled property, except as authorized in 102-74.410, or when these displays are conducted as part of authorized Government activities; and
(c) Distributing materials, such as pamphlets, handbills or flyers, unless conducted as part of authorized Government activities. This prohibition does not apply to public areas of the property as defined in 102-71.20 of this chapter. However, any person or organization proposing to distribute materials in a public area under this section must first obtain a permit from the building manager as specified in subpart D of this part. Any such person or organization must distribute materials only in accordance with the provisions of subpart D of this part. Failure to comply with those provisions is a violation of these regulations.

I send him a letter in jail. It was addressed to Dave Ridley: Outlaw Leafleterr.
Now that's a good idea, AOW. Maybe I'll put on a headscarf and try this to see if they arrest me.
Loma? I civil war?
