Ogre's Not Here!
Well, it's that time again -- time for the Ogre to go off into a cave and ignore the world for awhile. All you people who read blogs and news daily, I strongly suggest that you find time to do the same. What you will find out when you return is that nothing really important happened. Now this year there's a chance that the Senate will pass amnesty while I'm gone. But I've done all I can to stop that nightmare (dozens of faxes and phone calls). So I'm going camping.

In the meantime, "A Country That Works" by Andy Stern has some interesting and reasonable thoughts about how to "Get America Back on Track" --
"America is a gift. For generation after generation, from every corner on earth, people have come to America's shores expecting to work hard, hoping that their work would be valued and rewarded. And, more significant, Americans have expected that their children would be better off economically than their parents."

But just like when I was in school, I couldn't really think of anything but passing a note.
What a bummer to be a good kid. Enjoy your break!
And the spit wads were not from me.

Begins to simmer on campfire in yard, since authorities have cut off all power. Add wine, spices, oranges, raisins - get a real PUNCH going!
Makes Meridia Guy fetch wood.
