Chuck Norris for President!
I think our next president needs to be someone with courage and guts. I think it needs to be someone who is really confident about his positions and won't just straddle the fence on issues to get more votes. I think Chuck Norris could fit that bill, don't you? Here's some of his campaign promises. He would:
Require members of Congress to work out on the Total Gym 15 minutes each day – or else they can't vote on anything.
Have you seen many of those Congressmen? There's going to be a lot of people NOT voting if this rule is put into place. Of course, there might be a lot of passing out and heart attacks, too...
Give a presidential pardon to … no one, ever. Baretta was right in the '70s, "Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time. Don't do it!"
Heh, heh. See? Confidence and leadership!
Require Bill Gates and Warren Buffet to personally pay for national, comprehensive medical coverage for every American (or meet me in the Rose Garden).
That ought to shut up the limousine liberals who want everyone ELSE to pay for everything. Well, probably not, but still...
Convey my plan for world peace to the United Nations: taking the governor of California with me on our "kick butt and ask questions later" USO world tour.
Well, if we can't get out of the UN, we can at least make them officially useless.
Replace Letterman, Leno or Conan once monthly, since stand-up comedy is what most governmental officials do anyway.
Unfortunately, he's not really running -- but then again, most of the people who are best qualified are too smart to want to run. Go on, read the rest!
