Global Warming and You
Look, there are various things in the world that require belief. There are dozens and dozens of things that you simply cannot, and will not, ever prove beyond any doubt. Heck, if you accept the left's worldview, you can't even prove that 1+1 = 2! Man-made global warming is one of those things.
There are hundreds of scientists (and capitalists who want to make money) who absolutely swear that all warming of the globe is man-made. They have charts and graphs and twenty seven eight-by-ten color glossy photographs with circlesand arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence. That's fine. At the same time, there are hundreds other scientists who absolutely swear that all warming of the globe is a natural process. But where it really starts mattering to me, and to you if you are a productive member of society, is when people start forcing me to do things based on their beliefs. Look, if you think there's global warming and want to buy a green car, GO AHEAD. But don't tell me that I have to. Stop trying to take my money in the name of your belief system. Can anyone explain to me the difference between global warming people demanding my money and me demanding everyone else give to the church of my choice? I'll come up with all sort of evidence of my religion. I"ll find a bunch of scientists who will provide evidence, too. Then will it be okay for me to take your money away from you for my personal use? I'll say it's for the children, too. In a free country, you are entitled to whatever beliefs you want. When you start forcing me to accept and PAY FOR your beliefs using the government as a weapon against me, that's when we start to have problems. Go ahead, you can do anything YOU want about man-made global warming. Just stop trying to take my money and my freedom to do it.

Good quotes. We could argue all day about whether there is man-made global warming. My point here is that I really don't care and it makes no difference to me -- until you start using force to take my labor and money from me because of your beliefs. Then it's just plain wrong, no matter what your beliefs!
