Stem Cell Success!
British researches are reporting a success with stem cell research! It's almost as good as Kerry promised. This is giant news in the medical community! So, what have they created? Immature sperm cells.
Oh, and the British government looks like they're going to ban using them to fertilize humans. Oh, and the reason Democrats aren't absolutely screaming for more federal "stem cell research" funding? This research was done with adult stem cells. For those who don't understand the terms here, these were stem cells produced by an adult -- without the need for an abortion. Therefore, the Democrats aren't really interested. Now, if this "breakthrough" had been from an aborted baby stem cell, you can bet that the Democrats would be holding press conferences and the media would be screaming that Bush is killing people because he's not increasing funding for federal research on stem cells. You see, the primary reason that Democrats want federal funding for "Stem cell" research is so they can have more cash to commit abortions. But at least now we've got immature sperm, right?
Comments
Embryonic stem cell research is, however, a way to justify the millions of abortions every year... which is why the Dems want to push it as viable research. The pressure of having the government pay for women who can't keep their legs closed or use preventative birth control is more than they can bear so they are looking for an out.
I'm a women's libber in spite of the fact that it may not look like I am lots of times. However, just because you can do a thing doesn't mean you should do a thing and not suffer the consequences. Biology is against us in that matter and we should accept personal responsibility for reckless living. Men should, too, but they don't. It's much easier for them to skip out on their responsibilities... at least as long as the woman is stupid enough to let him. Do we call abortion fair in the sense men can skip out on their responsibilities, so it's only fair that women can, too? In one way, I'd say year but I don't think the government should be paying for it. Or shall we call the whole sorry mess, dumbing down?

Personally, I don't think anyone should kill other innocent people, no matter what anyone else might do.

Well, I guess. If killing your unborn children is just between those two, I don't see why killing those born should be any different. Or killing anyone. Or stealing, or...anything! We have laws to stop much lesser actions, such as smoking marijuana, making sure people have breaks at work, etc. So I believe killing humans is slightly more serious. Just slightly. Call me crazy.
