Illegals: $2,200,000,000,000.00

A new study by the Heritage Foundation's Robert Rector found a household headed by an individual without a high school education, including about two-thirds of illegal aliens, costs U.S. taxpayers more than $32,000 in federal, state and local benefits. That same family contributes an average of $9,000 a year in taxes, resulting in a net tax burden of $22,449 each year.

Over the course of the household's lifetime that tax burden translates to $1.1 million.

If the lower figure of 12 million illegal aliens is used for estimation purposes, the total tax burden translates to $2.2 trillion. (link)

Do you open-borders people understand? I know that you don't CARE how much things cost, but do you comprehend this expense for having no southern border? Ignore the lack of assimilation and the loss of the unique American culture. Ignore the creation of an underclass that, historically, ends up rising up with violence. Ignore the fact that we are encouraging and showing disrespect for the law. Ignore the terrorist threats that we are allowing over the border. Just look at the financial cost of letting these people do "jobs Americans won't do."

Again, Bush, and other scumbags who claim that, add more to your phrase. They're not "jobs Americans won't do;" it's "Jobs Americans won't do for that piddly amount of pay." And this is the cost of allowing illegals to come to do those jobs.

American should have a southern border. Today's Congress and President Bush STRONGLY disagree. Support Tom Tancredo for president -- he will support America. He will reduce this 2.2 TRILLION dollar tax burden on the working people.

1 It doesn't matter. Any facts shown for the "wrong" side are automatically questionable due to THEIR decisions based on facts they refuse to share, even when asked, that we are all racist warmongers if we dare question one of their facts they choose to never share with us racist warmongers.

2 Racist Warmongers, ho!

Indeed, the liberal mindset has as part of it's definition a total denial of reality. That's why I find "reality-based community" so funny -- but classic liberalism: redefine any word to mean whatever you want it to mean at that moment.

3 that number fails to take into account the amount spent on criminal prosecution for families without a high-school education (which i dare say might be higher than the rate of educated people committing crimes) nor does it take into account the problems they cause for others... things like DUI deaths, or even better food borne illnesses like the recent spinach case....

i dare say that number is much higher per year than anyone wants to admit

4 The number barely scratches the surface -- and it's STILL 2 TRILLION dollars!!!
