Good Old Boys in Raleigh
More details are coming to light showing even more corruption in Raleigh, going back even more years. This time it's governor Easley and his cronies who are using taxpayer money to give to newly created jobs for friends and political allies.
Gee, isn't this the same thing that Jim Black did? And he was just found guilty of federal felonies. But since he "resigned," the Democrats (who run Raleigh) have suddenly cleaned up everyone and every thing. Well, you know they're lying because their lips are moving. So how did we get to this point of a deep-rooted, rotting, and corrupt system of government? One-party rule. The Democrats have literally controlled the state of North Carolina for OVER 100 years. There has only been one Republican governor in that time period, and there has only been one Republican majority in the House. The NC Senate has been literally ruled with an iron fist for more than 100 years. Therefore the Democrats can literally do anything they want. They can break the rules and then change the rules and claim they didn't break them. They can openly break the law and there's no one to charge them with a crime. They can spend money faster than they bring it in and then lie about the money -- and there's no one to stop them. If you're voting Democrat in North Carolina, you are NOT voting based on any issues at all. You're not even voting for the environment, for the children, or for progress. Instead, you're voting to keep a power-hungry, corrupt mob in place for a longer period of time. They will continue to be corrupt. They will continue to select their constituents, instead of the other way around. They will not stop until they are stopped. The people of North Carolina are the only ones who can stop them. Will you?
