Offensive Smell? Leave your Property.

A tribunal in Australia has ruled that if you make a smell that someone else does not like, then you can be ordered out of your house. Keep that in mind -- if you don't like the smell of peppers and onions cooking in your neighbor's flat, you can get them thrown out of the apartment complex. If you don't like a certain cologne that's worn by a neighbor, just complain and out they go.

Nope, no such thing as freedom left in Australia, either. I really think the only true hope left for freedom on the entire planet may be The Free State Project.

1 The problem with the Free State Project is that it's too small. Once socialism completes its hold in this country it would be a matter of days before NH is overrun and defeated as a free state. What needs to happen is a coalition of many states that still value freedom. I don't think it will happen though until things reach a crisis point.

2 Never underestimate the power a few, committed individuals. I have talked with a lot of the people involved. I know others in New Hampshire. They will resist. Some will do so non-violently, some violently. If the Free State Project reaches it's goal (and perhaps even if it doesn't), New Hampshire will be free -- or the majority of it's citizens will be dead or in a federal jail.

I don't see any large-scale way to organize people who like freedom. Freedom-lovers want to be left alone. They don't WANT power. So they don't organize nearly as well as the left whose only desire is to tell others what to do.

3 We organized once before in history. Perhaps we can do it again when the crisis point is reached. If I'm not careful I'm going to get arrested for preaching sedition, lol... especially if the Dems get into complete power as is their goal. Will yall come break me out of prison?

4 When we did it before, it was a small group of people -- just like the Free State Project proposes. But people are getting so used to the slavery coming a little at a time that it will be very, very hard to get them to actually DO anything for freedom. Very difficult. The socialists are extremely good at not presenting a target.

5 You know, I don't know that party matters - dems and republicans both want power.

We have a local guy who got elected to our board of commissioners to do reform. He finishes out his term this year. He sent a letter to his constituents saying veni, vidi, vici, see you later. He's not running for reelection.

wish we had more pols like that.

6 Today's politics is a disgusting world of power. Those who are best qualified to be there don't want to have anything to do with it.
